Reading Nook of the Week: Author Stacy Juba

Reading Nook of the Week

Today we welcome Author Stacy Juba. She is showing us her favorite reading spot today.

My favorite reading nook is anywhere that I can snuggle up with a pillow and a blanket, usually my bed or the living room couch.

When I read in bed, it's usually for a few stolen moments while my family is occupied or while I'm waiting for my husband to come watch TV. Reading on the couch is a special luxury as it means that I've worked through my to-do list and have some uninterrupted time for myself. I'll wrap myself under the crocheted pink afghan and immerse myself in a book. If I'm reading a real page-turner of a print book, I'll stick to that, otherwise I might finish a chapter or two and then catch up on the ebook downloads filling up my Sony e-reader. It's not uncommon for me to be in the middle of two or three novels at the same time.

Sometimes my schedule gets busy, but I always make time to steal precious moments in one of my reading nooks.

Stacy Juba is the author of the adult mystery novels Twenty-Five Years Ago Today and Sink or Swim. She also blogs at the Mysteries, Murder & More blog at http://stacyjuba.com/blog/blog/.

  1. The couch is impossible for me :(
I have to be alone at home to enjoy such place. The bed in my room, or a cushion in the floor are enough for me :)
