Stealing Infinity tells a story of time travellers with a pinch of romance, a lot of secrets and even more mystery. Gray Wolf Academy isn't how it seems - even if I don't know why yet. The whole book revealed so many questions and not many answers so as you can imagine I am dying for more! 

The further into the book you get, the more intriguing the prologue becomes.  

"When the boy does find my daughter - and he will - I can only hope it will lead to her uncovering this object."

Has she already met this mysterious blue eyed boy? What does he want with her? Why? How does this tie in with her current situation? Ms Noel, I need answers!

The novel began with an introduction to numerology (something I'd never heard of) and I loved that it was included as it was fun to workout and read up on my number - I'm an eight! You can see the amount of research and detail the author included and it was a fantastic touch!

Alyson Noel is an author who has been in my heart for years - way back when The Immortals series came out and Stealing Infinity did not disappoint. The gripping storyline had me from the beginning and I was desperate for more when it ended. The author took a trope I generally don't like (time travelling) and spun a tale that become one my favourite reads of the year.

As a fan of Alyson Noel's Immortals series, I jumped at the chance to
read this book. I really enjoyed the journey the characters took in the
Immortals series and was excited to embark on a new adventure with new
characters and a whole new world.

The cover of this book is absolutely stunning. There is a beautiful
girl with long, flowing, dark hair fanning out across the bottom of the
page, on a purple background with ravens and crows flying all around

the title and author's name. I just love it!!

We are introduced to Daire and her mom, Jennika, in this book and it
begins with a punch. Most books tend to lead up to the action, but this
had bits of action interspersed throughout the book, starting right in
the first few chapters. What a way to grab one's attention! The real
action begins, though, once Daire meets Dace, the boy of her dreams
(literally!!) and tried to acclimate to a new life in Enchantment, New
Mexico. She makes a few friends, and even a few frenemies, but the best
part is her relationship with her grandmother. I loved the scenes
between Daire and her grandmother! I also enjoyed the scenes between
Daire and her mom, though the two seemed more like sisters than mother
and daughter.

Daire goes from being very transient to finding a place that she wants
to call home. She goes from feeling like a freak who sees visions and
spirits to some one who has some pretty unique (and very cool) gifts. I
like the magick in this story and the connections to Native American
stories of spirit animals. She is a very strong character who doesn't
back down easily.

This book has it all-magick, spookiness, cute boys, a little romance,
danger, fun and light-hearted moments, some mystery, and there's even
good/evil twins (cute ones, too!) What more can you ask for?

I am very intrigued by this new world that Alyson has created, and I
cannot wait to read more about Daire and her friends in the future.

Audio Portion: I think the reader did an excellent job on this audiobook. Kathleen McInerney's voice was pleasant to listen to and sounded very youthful. As I listened I actually felt like Riley was sitting right next to me in my car telling me her story. She read with such expression and it really brought the characters and story to life for me. I did some research and discovered that Kathleen is the reader for the other audio books in this series. I enjoyed this one so much that I look forward to listening to her read the others in this series.

Review: Being a fan of the Immortals Series, I enjoyed listening to this audiobook. It was nice to hear about Riley Bloom again, since I hadn’t read anything about her since the last book in the Immortals series. I didn’t realize that there were a few others out before this one, so I will have to check the other ones out, too.

Riley is trying hard to find a way to talk to her sister Ever. The problem is that she is no longer alive while Ever still is.

I liked the characters and the storyline. Some parts were pretty gross-specifically one part where Riley is in Dreamland trying to negotiate with a dreamweaver who puts her into a series of nightmares, some of which were pretty nasty and scary.

I will definitely go back and read the other ones in this series and look forward to the next in the series.

I LOVED the way Alyson wrapped up this series! I think this one is my favorite of the series, too! I enjoyed reading more about Ever and Damen's relationship in this one, and it reminded me of how much they really do belong together. I really like how Alyson weaved the previous incarnations of Ever, Damen and Jude in this story, and some of the others leading up to this one. I was also surprised to see some of the other characters play a part in previous lives.

There is a part in the book where Ever has to take a journey all alone. This part made me sad because she couldn't have her love or her friends with her. It was important for her to do it alone so that she could show how strong she has grown throughout the series.

I very much enjoyed seeing some of the characters who were "disposed" of in previous books back in this one, in a way. It was great to see how Damen and Ever interacted with these characters in a different way.

All in all, this book has friendship, mystery, challenge, passion, love, and so much more. I also really really loved the ending. Bravo Alyson, Bravo!
