Welcome back to the final day in the Halloween Booktacular, I know don' t be sad. It has been a ton of fun to read every one's answers to all the questions we asked each day. Today I promised we would go out with a bang! First you'll get to read from all of us here at OUaT, something we have written about Halloween, be it costume or the season and even a shirt story by our Teen reviewer Joshua. Then when you read all the stories, get ready for the mega giveaway. So let's start it off, shall we?

Yara:
My post is about the one costume that stand out the most in all my years of dressing up. I will never forget the year my mom made my Pebbles costume from The Flintstones. I wished I had the photo scan in this computer, but the picture is stored away in a box somewhere in my attic. Well this costumes was amazing, I think I was about 13 when she made it for me. I even wore a real bone on my head to look the part. I remember the fabric being so shimmery and just perfect. It was a great Halloween that year. I'm lucky because if I ask my mom to make me a costume she still does even though she hates to sow. She has done a few that are just as great as Pebbles. Now she helps with the grand kids.

Monica:
I think the most memorable Halloween was last year. I was planning on taking my little cousins to a Safe Halloween which is this place were its basically an outside museum. They have old buildings that are relocated and old trains in there, and people from business go and decorate them and make them scary and such. The Safe Halloween is for parents who are worried about what kind of candy they are getting from people around where they live and just so there is no traffic in the streets to deal with. Anyways, I asked my little cousins what they wanted to be for Halloween and one wanted to be Jesse from Toy Story and their lil brother wanted to be Woody. My other little cousin who is the oldest wanted to be an "Avatar girl". Don't ask me how she got it into her head that's what she wanted to be but we had to go find her a blue outfit ASAP. It was the cutest outfit, i had to blue up her face, and while at the Safe Halloween we had so many people saying her costume "was the best". I just think the simplest Halloweens with family/little kids are the best because they appreciate the day sometimes way more than us adults!

Joshua:
Wolf Cry
By Joshua

Long ago when the earth was young, a great sorrowful disaster befell the wolves of the earth. On a crisp cloudy afternoon, there came a great rumbling from the earth. Suddenly, out of the ground, erupted a snake like, three-headed monster that was sent by the one who is evil. The monster, for the next year, terrorizes the wolves leaving them painful shells of their former selves. The old man above takes pity on the wolves and decides to help them by giving them hope.

On the anniversary of the monster’s arrival a wolf is born to the alpha of the pack. From the moment he is born, the wolves know he is something special. As he grows he becomes faster and smarter than any other wolf on earth. The chosen one, for that is what they call him now, begins to see the pain and suffering that the monster has caused the pack. He realizes that he must take a stand. He bands together the wolves of the world and leads them in an immense battle with the monster. The sheer number of wolves defeats the monster, but as it takes its last breath it deals a fatal blow to the chosen one.

Mournful cries are heard throughout the land. The wolves flock to the chosen one as he takes his last breath. A blinding light fills the sky and as it subsides the chosen one’s spirit rises through the sky. Suddenly a gigantic white sphere appears in the sky to which the wolves lift their heads and howl. They howl their pain away, and to this day they cry up to what we call the moon.

Trudy:
Halloween has always been a fun day, even if I haven't dressed myself. I did enjoy making quite a few home made costumes for Yara when she was little and even as she was older. There are a couple that stick to my memory, one of the best ones was as Pebbles from the Flintstones, it even had the bone (dog bone mind you) for the hair and another time was for a cousin, her best friend in school and her that decided to dress as Jokers, it was a mission trying to please 3 teenagers, but it was accomplished.
Now days, I enjoy helping her plan for the grand kids costumes and see them trick or treating in the neighborhood.

Jenny:
I will talk about my most memorable and the best costume I wore for Halloween one year.

I was about 6 or 7 years old when I was obsessed with Belle from Beauty and the Beast. I begged my mom for months to buy me that costume. When she finally did I was ecstatic and couldn't wait until Halloween to put it on. Till this day I don't know where she purchased the costume from but it had it all!! The beautiful yellow dress that had the straps fall on your shoulders just like the movie, the crown, the gloves and even the shoes!! It was complete. I remember my cousin telling me that she will do my hair just like the movie to make my look of Belle complete. Halloween day came and I went to my cousin's house. She did my hair just like Belle's and placed the crown on my head. I went home, and put on my costume. I looked just like Belle that Halloween and felt like the princess in the movie. It was such a magical night that I will remember for the rest of my life. I can't wait till my little princess grows to about that age and I can dress her up with the princess costume of her choice. I can't tell you how many candies I got or if I even got candy. All I remember is my beautiful Belle Costume.

Tammy:
A few years ago a bunch of us at work dressed up as our favorite characters. I picked Ginny Weasley from the Harry Potter books because I knew that she would end up with Harry at the end of the series. I didn't want to dye my hair red, so I told everyone that Ginny dyed her hair because she heard blonde's had more fun (hee hee). Here's a picture of me in my costume, me with my son (with Harry Potter specs on) and all my Harry Potter goodies at that time, and the last one is the picture of everyone who dressed up at work that year. We had a great time!!

There you have it folks, just a little bit of Halloween from each of us. What do you think of the short story by Joshua (He's only 15)? Well as promised here comes the treats we have in store for you all. This is how it will work, I will write a list of all the books up for grabs and 5 winners will have a chance to pick for the list.
1st place: picks 5 books from the list
2nd place: picks 4 books from the list (after 1st chooses)
3rd place: picks 3 books from the list (after 1st & 2nd choose)
4th place: picks 2 books from the list (after 1st, 2nd & 3rd choose)
5th place: picks 1 book from the list (after 1-4 chooses)
I will email the winners and asked tat they give me several choices they would like to win. If that book is available when its your choice you will get it. Simple, right? Now here is the trick, if my followers increase let say by 100 I will add 5 more winners and so on. I will even add more books if I see the followers have gone up by 100. Got that? I'm at 2299 followers as of 10/30. So during this final giveaway if the followers increase by 100 I will add 5 more winners per 100 it grows. I will add more books also when that happens. 3. I loved Joshua's story and everybody's favorite Halloweens. :) My favorite would have to be last year's, which was the first time I ever went to a haunted house and we had to wait outside for an hour, just making jokes and messing around, until we finally got to go in. :)
