Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Things On My Reading Wishlist

Top Ten Things On My Reading Wishlist

A really good banter. I love Daemon Black's banters. I love his snarky remarks to his "Kitten".

I want more books where men are not afraid to pour their heart out. I would love to read more books like Tangled by Emma Chase. This book is  written on Drew's point of view and OMG hilarious doesn't do justice. Drew poured his heart out... I cried, I laughed. I need more!

Actions - I am a fan of I Am Number Four series because of the packed actions scenes! I need more chasing, fighting, battles... I want to be on edge!

With that said, I want the main female character to be tough. I want her to be able to fight, chase people, and be able to get whatever she wants. I want her to remain true to herself and not depend so much on a guy.

I need more of witches in my life.

Can I please have someone write about a single sexy English daddy that knows how to play guitar?

Call me a cry baby, but I love when books make me cry. Bring on the sad stories!

Humanly dark, creepy and supernatural.

Love stories where love conquers all. Anyone and any circumstances.

I am addicted to Reign. I would love to read stories set in 1557 France with twist thrillers and supernatural.

  1. Lol, I love the pictures you included. That poor demon is getting fried by Castiel. I really want more tough female characters too, combine that with the action scenes and we have gold! Great list!

  2. Tough female characters is a must; YA is lacking in that lately, even in the Dystopian section! Great list! :D

  6. Nice picks! I love action-packed books because they read so well and fast. Witches and supernatural are always good picks, too.
    Happy reading!

  7. Nice list! Totally agree on having solid bantering. I honestly wouldn't mind if nothing really happens in tens of pages as long as the dialogue is there.

    Cheers,

  8. Banter. That is perfect and I think it is exactly why I had sassy/snarky heroines on my list. They are always good for witty banter. I have I am Number Four on my list because of aliens, but I agree that what makes that series so compelling is the action. Guitar-playing British dad? Swoon! Great list! ~Megan

  9. I agree that books should make a reader cry! I just read The Fault In Our Stars, and I cried a couple times at the end of the book. Also, I like having a strong female heroine in my novels, such as Katniss from The Hunger Games.

  10. LOL, the single dad with an English accent who plays guitar??? YES please!!! And I love books when guys pour their hearts out. But it's a fine line between making me feel swoony and me rolling my eyes. I would love to have more of those moments that hurt my heart because the guy feels so sincere. And also I love a good cry book.

  16. Great list! I wish there was more love conquers all and fewer love triangles.Definite yes to guys pouring their hearts out. And books that make me cry. And OMG I LOVE Reign! Books from that time-frame are some of my favorites. I want to read Witchfall soon. I anticipate greatness.

I agree about strong females, but at the same time I don't think a girl needs to literally kick someone's ass in order to be strong, you know?

    Thanks for visiting my post!
