My name is Jennifer but they call me Jenny. I am a mother of a baby girl and a blissful wife. I am an office manager for my father in law's trucking company part time and take care of my daughter too. Lets see, I was never a book lover and honestly began reading books after my cousin Yara introduced me to the Twilight series. I am so thankful that she did because I have found something I love to do. Reading brings on a whole new prospective to my life. When I read I lose myself into the world of what I am reading and it has helped with my grammar and vocabulary as well. Now I have expanded my reading to reviewing books. I look forward to reviewing a lot of books and hope you find my reviews helpful. I am Yara's mom and the proud Nana of 2 of the most loving and wonderful kids. Reading has been my escape from reality since I was a kid. I used to read under a blanket with a flashlight to avoid my mother's very strict bedtime, lights out rule. She use to say I was going to become blind if I kept that up, it did not stop me from doing it until I was older and able to read as I pleased. It is fun doing something you love and helping others find out about the wonderful world of books.
Hi my name is Ana and I am married to a wonderful man who I love dearly and the mother of a beautiful 2 yr old boy who I love with all my heart. I work as a paralegal in a big law firm and have been a paralegal for over 12 years. I have always been in love with books, but never really appreciated them as much as I do now. There is nothing I love more than then to come home after a long day, find a comfortable spot on my couch and get lost in great book. I want to thank Jenny and Yara for giving me the opportunity to be part of Once Upon A Twilight and allowing me to read such wonderful books and meet such amazing people. I hope you enjoy and find my reviews helpful. Enjoy!I was an avid reader as a child and into high school, but became too busy in college to read for pleasure-I only had time to read what was required for my classes. :( After graduating, I became a teacher and spent most of my time reading Children's books. While teaching Preschool, I met my best friend who highly recommended the Harry Potter series in 2000 and that turned me back onto reading for "me" again. I was introduced to the Twilight Saga a few years later (in May 2004 I read the first 3 books in a week). I joined TwilightMoms.com, where I met Yara, shortly after reading the books because I needed a place to discuss them with other fans who understood the books the way I did. I was a Moderator on TMs for about a year and received tons of book recommendations from friends on the forum. I love getting book recommendations from all over the world! Thanks to my renewed love of reading my hands are never empty--if I'm not reading (which I almost always am-even while walking to work and exercising), I'm making jewelry or scrapbooks or cards, or taking pictures, or snuggling with my guys, or shopping (usually for books or jewelry and craft supplies). Life.is.good!
I feel so honored to be a part of this blog (thanks Yara!!!) and I hope you like reading my reviews!
Hello, I'm Monica and I'm so pleased to be helping Yara on her blog! I'm 26 years old and I work at my parents restaurant. I started my own book club with some friends and we've had it going strong for over a year now. I've always loved reading, even back in elementary school. I would read so many books to get points for a book reading contest every year. Books are a vital part of my life. My choice of reading books is on my lovely Nook. I do not leave my house without it in my purse. My books of choice to read are mostly romance, with some fantasy/paranormal thrown in. I read most book reccomendations just because you cannot go wrong with reading a new book. I came across twilight through my friend and I've loved everything about the fandom so far. I've met amazing people through it, including Yara at a premiere event :). Thanks so much for including me in your blog :)

Many years ago a collegue of mine encouraged me to pick up the book Twilight. Little did I know, that picking up that book, would open up many doors to new friendships and a whole new outlook on Young Adult Literature. As an educator, I am truly passionate about my calling. My heart is dedicated to witnessing each child develop into a successful student. It puts a smile on my face, when I look at a book title my students are reading, and I too can relate and discuss that book with them. Sometimes they seem a little shocked, that someone whom they thought only read the classics reads a whole lot more. As a wife and mom there is never a dull moment in our household. I love to travel and read great books, with a steaming cup of my favorite coffee in hand.Deitre's Twitter
