Hi, I’m Yara—founder and editor of Once Upon a Twilight. This site began over 15 years ago with one book and a passion that quickly turned into something much bigger. What started as a group blog has since become a personal space where I continue to share what I love: books, movies, TV shows, and everything fandom.

- Featured on movie posters, author websites, and press campaigns
- Covered red carpet premieres, press junkets, author tours, and major book and film events across the U.S.
Before life shifted, I worked from home and could post almost daily—reading nonstop and attending events as often as possible. But as the years passed, things changed. I’m now a teacher, and my schedule is definitely busier. That doesn’t mean I’ve stepped away completely. The blog is still here and still active, even if the pace has changed.
Once Upon a Twilight has weathered a lot over the years—quarantines, personal milestones, changing seasons of life—and it’s still going strong. I may not post as often as before, but the love for storytelling and sharing hasn’t gone anywhere.
