Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This meme was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

Each week we will post a new Top Ten list complete with one of our bloggers’ answers. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND post a comment on our post with a link to your Top Ten Tuesday post to share with us and all those who are participating. If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.

Top Ten Books I Resolve To Read in 2011--books you've put off reading but will vow to get to in 2011!

Once Upon a Twilight's List (in no particular order):
  1. The Dark Divine by Bree Despain (released on December 22nd 2009) I have had this book for a long time and just have not gotten to it fast enough and now we now there is a sequel to it.
  2. White Cat by Holly Black (released on May 4th 2010) This is one of the many Holly Black books I won that I have not read yet.
  3. The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting (released on March 16th 2010) Another book I want to read since the second one comes out next month.
  4. I Am Number Four by Pittacus Lore (released on July 18th 2010) this one Im moving up the list since I want to read it before the movie comes out next month
  5. Sisters Red by Jackson Pearce (released on June 7th 2010) I found this one at half price books and still havent read it yet.
  6. The Eternal Ones by Kirsten Miller (released on July 27th 2010) this copy I won on a giveaway and was so excited but again still havent had the chance to read it
  7. Halo by Alexandra Adornetto (released on August 31st 2010) this is my signed copy that a friend got for me and it is sitting with the others waiting for me to read.
  8. Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson (released on October 22nd 1999) found at half price books and Ive heard great things about this book
  9. Mistwood by Leah Cypess (released on April 27th 2010) half price books again! Must read as well since a sequel is coming out in May.
  10. Personal Demons by Lisa Desrochers (released on September 14th 2010) This was my 1st book won on Goodreads and my mom read it and loved it and I have it waiting for me to read, hopefully before the second book comes out in July.
Pretty much all these books I own. They are in my TBR Pleasure pile and that pile has been put on hold for sometime. Ive been reading from the TBR Review pile for a long while now. I think finally I can start going thru my pleasure books and catch up on last years reading.

What are books you are resolved to read?

  3. The Dark Divine and Speak are great. I don't think I'll read Halo because of all the bad reviews, but I hope you enjoy all of these! :)

  4. I Am Number Four is really great - I just finished it recently, and I'm excited to see how the movie turned out. White Cat and Sisters Red are really great too.

Personal Demons, The Body Finder, and Halo are also on my list. I can't wait to read them.

    Happy reading!
