Book Tour: Darkness Becomes Her Grand Prize Giveaway and Top Ten

Today we have saved the best for last. Kelly Keaton is ending with a bang her book Darkness Becomes Her tour. Thanks to Kelly you will have a great chance at winning a big Grand Prize. Are you ready to know what Kelly is giving away for her fans??? Well first you will have to read what are the Top Ten reason Kelly chose New Orleans for her book.

Top Ten List:

What are your Top Ten reason's for choosing New Orleans for you book?

Mardi Gras - How can you not love Mardi Gras? The atmosphere, the Old World echoes of Carnival in Venice, the imagery, the floats, costumes and masks... it's very inspiring, alluring, and mysterious.
Cemeteries - The above ground cemeteries in NOLA are filled with eerie tombs and vaults, some like gothic churches in miniature. They are cities of the dead, row after row, tomb after tomb, and the entire atmosphere is haunting and yet strangely beautiful.
Climate - There's nothing like setting a story in a sultry, tropical environment. The lush plants, the heat and humidity; it all adds a level of tension and wildness.
Architecture - In NOLA there is such a blend of influences in the architecture. Creole townhouses with their iron balconies and big courtyards, the shotgun houses, mansions of the Garden District - everything from Greek revival and Italianate to American Colonial and Victorian.
Garden District - One of my favorite places in the city! Talk about LUSH. The old trees, the amazing homes, the gardens... The feeling you get is like you've been transported to another age. History and grandeur in abundance.
French Quarter - Also one of my favorite places! There is such a mix of Old World charm, liveliness, heat, history and the buildings are incredible.
History - NOLA has such a rich history unlike anywhere else in this country. First a French colony, then Spanish, then again French until Napoleon sold it in the Louisiana Purchase. It's a massive port city, once home to pirates and voodoo queens, and the Antebellum age...
Plantations - Go down the River Road and you find Oak Hall, San Francisco, Destrehan, Laura Plantation houses, and more. It's like going down a romantic road that leads into the antebellum past.
The swamps - Never far from the city, the swamps are places of beauty and danger and the idea that these could one day creep closer and closer... well, it only adds to the tension and the air of wildness about the place.
The people/culture - The cultures that collided in New Orleans are found nowhere else. French, Spanish, African... The emergence of Creole, the cuisine, the music, the language, the Cajuns/Acadians. So many things, cultures, peoples, found their home or their birth in the city of New Orleans.

Summary: (from Kelly Keaton's website) Ari can’t help feeling lost and alone. With teal eyes and freakish silver hair that can’t be changed or destroyed, Ari has always stood out. And after growing up in foster care, she longs for some understanding of where she came from and who she is.

Her search for answers uncovers just one message from her long dead mother: Run. Ari can sense that someone, or something, is getting closer than they should. But it’s impossible to protect herself when she doesn’t know what she’s running from or why she is being pursued.
She knows only one thing: she must return to her birthplace of New 2, the lush rebuilt city of New Orleans. Upon arriving, she discovers that New 2 is very…different. Here, Ari is seemingly normal. But every creature she encounters, no matter how deadly or horrifying, is afraid of her.
Ari won’t stop until she knows why. But some truths are too haunting, too terrifying, to ever be revealed.
