Once Upon a Twilight!: BEA Blogger Dinner!

Hi everyone!

I wanted to tell those bloggers or authors going to BEA in New York next month or those that live in the area about a Blogger dinner that Good Choice Reading and Once Upon a Twilight are putting together. This will be a great time to come together for those of us that chat online, Facebook or tweet one another to finally meet in person. So why not have a dinner party to finally be able to meet one another and have down time to chat.

The date we have in mind is Wednesday, May 25th around 7 or 8 P.M. This way it gives everyone a chance to go back to their hotel room and freshen up and then head out to mingle around NYC! Since I am originally from NYC I picked a restaurant that I thought would be a great experience for everyone, especially those who will be with their children. The name of the restaurant is Mars 2112 (http://mars2112.com/) and it's like eating in space. :0)

They do dinner parties, reservations, etc. The date and time are not set in stone, but that is what we're pushing for.

We've also invited a couple of authors to join us that night, some have said yes and some are just waiting for their BEA tour. So once we get confirmation we will send out an e-mail or blog post to everyone. :0)

So we are inviting all book bloggers to join us on Wednesday, May 25th for dinner at Mars2112. If you'd like to attend, please fill out the FORM so that way we know exactly how many people will be joining us, and so we can go ahead and make the reservation. We want to make the reservation before May 1st so the form will be open till April 20th. Thanks

Great idea but there is nothing at their website about being able to accommodating food allergies or celiac disease.

Totally depressed here! I was planning to attend BEA and was refused the time off:( My boss is sooooooooooo not my favorite person. Have fun there! I hope it's awesome!

How fun! I think Harper's having a blogger reception that night from 6-8, but if you're starting at 8ish, those people should still be able to make it if you're okay with fashionably late. :)

I think that this is a great idea. Also I got Tuesday, Thursday and Friday Off. Yes. I want to go to this dinner and meet a few other bloggers like myself.
