Summary: (from Simon & Schuster) Clara's relationship with Christian is intense from the start, and like nothing she's ever experienced before. But what starts as devotion quickly becomes obsession, and it's almost too late before Clara realizes how far gone Christian is--and what he's willing to do to make her stay.

Now Clara has left the city—and Christian—behind. No one back home has any idea where she is, but she still struggles to shake off her fear. She knows Christian won't let her go that easily, and that no matter how far she runs, it may not be far enough....

A teenager meets, by what she believes is fate,  the perfect boyfriend. Soon she finds out that things are not as perfect as she believed, he has become dangerously controlling and obsessive. After several problems, her dad has to take her away to keep her safe. She has to learn to work on her insecurities and get rid of her fears and become herself again.  With the other characters, things become clear and she discovers other events in her life that has a big effect on her.  The contents in the story  are strong and very close to reality. Love can make things go crazy , but it should never be a reason to change yourself  to bend to that other persons ways.  A riveting very well written  story of self-awareness.

  1. I just read a negative review of this book. Funny to see that you loved it! Now I need to read for myself and see where I stand.
