Once Upon a Book Signing

Today we welcome Kate from A Reader's Ramblings blog. She is sharing some good pictures with us today. 

I've been to a few over the past two years, and everytime there is a mix of excitement and nervousness that creeps up on me. Many times I'm meeting authors whose books I've read and loved and maybe that I've even worked with on the two blogs I write for. It's kind of like a weird first date- where you finally meet this person who you know so much about and you're a little worried about whether they will like you or not!

The best signing I went to was The Rochester Teen Book Festival last May (although NCTE with fellow Eve's Fan Bloggers Sara and Maryanne was pretty spectacular too). This was the very first event I went to and it was amazing. 26 authors, one full day of seminars (for FREE) and author signing time at the end. I walked away with so many great books and even more great stories about the sessions and the fabulous authors! I can't wait to go again this year.
