- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
"I think her gifts have morphed. They're changing."
You're wrong," Cara said from the doorway. "O built that wall so that I didn't have to feel anything. No one would ever do to me what they did to her."

“So, Cara Riley, we have met,” Will said, “That’s the first
step in getting acquainted. We should move onward to the second.”
That question sounded dumb coming out of my mouth and I
knew it when I said it.
“This.” Will Brennan told me in that lush voice that made me
feel the same way that the best hot chocolate laden with real cream
did down deep inside just before he kissed me.

“Kara, remember that seeing me as a beast is not something you’re at ease with yet. I’ve only transformed into that shape a few times in front of you. Don’t forget to stay away from my mouth and teeth as I carry you on my back. My bite, a nip or scratch from my teeth could convert you into a werewolf while I’m in this shape. We don’t need to deal with any accidents like that tonight,” Daniel warned me. He proceeded to lock the doors and give the car a quick security check. He glanced at the position and angle the car was parked in. The rear-end was jutting out too much on the street due to the sliding as we attempted to stop. Someone could easily hit the back or side of the car in the dark. In a mere three seconds, he lifted and maneuvered the rear-end of the car further to the side of the road, straightening it out. Looking quite satisfied with the placement of the car, Daniel said, “Time to go” Talk to me with your mind. You've witnessed it’s difficult for me to speak in beast form. And stay away from my teeth!”
