Summary: (from goodreads) When seventeen-year-old Diana recognizes an elderly priest in a video on YouTube, she realizes that reincarnation is real and that she’s been alive before! Every night in her dreams, she relives her past learning that it’s kill or be killed. Now a bishop at the Vatican whom she saved in another life calls on her once more. She is needed to help defeat evil within the catacombs of Rome. But when she arrives in Rome, she meets Alexander – the man of her dreams! Through the centuries she has loved him…betrayed him...been killed by him. Will she give him another chance or this time will she strike first?

This book centers around Diana who is finishing up her Junior year in high school and is about to become the new Book Club President (cleverly named Authors Abound or "AA"). She is a normal seventeen year old girl except for the fact that she has had very vivid dreams all her life in which she fights demons and a man named Alexander Black always ends up killing her as the dream ends. In the dreams she is a Warrior for the Light fighting the Dark and kills demons with weapons made of silver. She shares her dreams with her two friends, Maggie and Sam (who are dating and are also members of the book club). One day Maggie comes across a YouTube video that leads the trio on a journey to Rome, Italy after they graduate.

I'll give Caron Rider one thing, she knows how to write a story. She took this concept of hers of a girl who fights demons and weaves it in such a way involving historical characters and places that just leave you gasping and wanting to know more. This was a very clever story and she just makes it interesting and fun to read.

This was a very quick read at 278 pages and it has a sequel already in the works aptly named Silver Demon which after the cliffhanger ending, you'll definitely be waiting to read. If you're into demon slaying, who done it's, mysteries, historical places and/or all of the above, you should definitely give this book a read!
