About the author: Formally trained as a corporate and real estate lawyer, I practiced law for 5 years before finally admitting to myself that negotiating contracts wasn’t nearly as fun as dreaming up stories. As an avid reader of romances and supernatural stories, I knew I wanted to write urban fantasy and paranormal romance. Tales of vampires, demons, and other supernatural beings ensued.

I’m currently working on the Demons of Infernum series, a series of paranormal romance novels featuring four sexy half-demon brothers and their reluctant heroines.

When not writing, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son in our home state of Florida, as well as searching out things that go bump in the night. I still haven’t found any, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

If I ever do find evidence of the supernatural, it remains to be seen whether I’ll jump around in excitement, or run screaming in terror (but I’m betting on the latter)!

Summary: (from goodreads) Half-demon Taeg is desperate to free his pregnant sister-in-law, who is spellbound to an indestructible book that will create an army of the undead. He is convinced that an ancient sword can destroy the book and the spell forever, but this relic has been hidden for a millennia by a powerful glamour. The clock begins to run out on his search when an old rival goes after the book and Taeg’s family in his quest for revenge.

Librarian Maya Flores has a secret: she’s immune to magic and is well aware of the supernatural beings prowling the streets of New York City. Haunted by a brutal demon attack that took her family, she is on a one-woman mission to destroy the evil demons who did it—and any others who get in her way.
Maya is Taeg’s best hope for uncovering the sword.
Unfortunately, she wants nothing more than to kill him. As he fights for her trust and to save his family, she is forced to face the truth that not all demons are evil. And the worst part? She might be falling in love with one, too.

In the first installment of the Demons of the Infernum series we were introduced to a group of devastatingly handsome half-demon brothers who have come to Earth to stop their father, Mammon, from procuring the Book of the Dead from the desert in Egypt. Keegan met and fell in love with a woman he thought to be human but is also part demon and is a decedent of the person who wrote the Book of the Dead, making her the key Mammon needs to finding the book since the location is bred into her DNA. Now that the book has been stolen from under Mammon's nose by Leviathos, the brothers must keep Brynn safe since she is also the key to using the book to raise the army of the dead.

In Mark of the Sylph, Taeg, the scorchingly handsome half-demon/half-sylph brother is determined to keep his new sister-in-law, Brynn, safe from Leviathos. He is also protecting the baby growing inside Brynn. On his search for the item he believes is needed to destroy the book, Taeg starts spending a lot of time at the library. One of the librarians draws his attention in particular, Maya Flores. There is something about the fact that Maya completely hates him from the moment she meets him. He's taken by her, woman don't usually blow him off. He's not super cocky but he knows he is smokin' hot and women usually throw themselves at him, but not Maya, she seems like she wants to kill him and she doesn't even know him.

Maya has a past that haunts her everyday. She can't sleep without seeing the images of the things that were done to her family when she was a child. Things that were done to them by demons. She could see them for what they were, but her family couldn't. She's spent her life since trying to figure out a way to rid the world of demons. Now that Taeg has entered her life, she is hell bent on destroying him as well, she doesn't care what he looks like in his human form, she can see the demonic red of his eyes and the evil that lays underneath his glamoured facade.

Following in his brother Keegan's footsteps, Taeg kidnaps Maya after she knocks herself out trying to kill him the night he figures out that she can see through glamours. He believes whole-heartily that she is the key to helping him locate the sword that is going to destroy the Book of the Dead once and for all and save Brynn and their baby from being used by Leviathos to raise the army of the dead. Now all Taeg has to do is convince a woman who has been wounded by demons in the past to trust him and his demon brothers in order to help them find the location of a sword that has been hidden by a powerful glamour since the age of King Arthur.

I just loved this story. Taeg is ridiculously delicious. I loved Keegan but Taeg takes HOT to a whole new level. Maya is feisty and she challenges Taeg and doesn't just lay down and give in to what he wants. I love that in female heroines. She's a fighter and she is determined to do right by the family she lost long ago. I can't get enough of this series ... it makes me wish that the entire series was out so I didn't have to take the pain of waiting for the next book to be released. Rosalie Lario is a fantastic writer and has created a steamy set of brothers to follow on the page and always makes you want more of them. Whether Maya is trying to kill Taeg or finally submitting to the desire they feel toward one another, their relationship is five alarm hot and will leave you panting for more. I can't wait to see which brother is up next and where the story will go from here.
