Summary: (from goodreads) Will

Maybe I'm too late. Maybe Zoe's dad stole all her fifteen years and taught her to be scared. I'll undo it. Help her learn to be strong again, and brave. Not that I'm any kind of example, but we can learn together.

When the whole world is after you, sometimes it seems like you can't run fast enough.

Zoe

Maybe it'll take Will years to come to terms with being abandoned. Maybe it'll take forever. I'll stay with him no matter how long it takes to prove that people don't always leave, don't always give up on you.

This book reminded me of Romeo and Juliet because they wanted to be together but their families didn't want them to be together. But this book was about a girl named Zoe that lived with her father and was getting tired of being treated like a doormat all the time. Her father was always drunk and always took things out on her and she finally got to her last straw and finally had it. Well her boyfriend Will decides that Zoe and him are going to run away from their problems. Will has always had his family leave him and he finally reached that age where he can be on his own. So he decides to save Zoe and start a life of their own. But Will has always been afraid that Zoe will leave him because everybody that he has known has left him. She wants to prove to him that she will stay around even if it takes years to show him.

Throughout this whole book they go on a adventure from running away from home. They experience things along the way that helps them grow closer to each other that other people wish they had with their significant other. Every page of this story was a page turner and you just had to keep on reading it to find out what happens to these wonderful main characters.

Sorry this review is so short but you don't want to ruin the story for other people and plus there might be some people that want to read it and see if it is something that they really like. Because we don't always like the same things. So if you have a chance read this book by a wonderful author. Sorry I couldn't tell you more about the story I just want to keep some things a secret.

  1. I found this story very gripping and was just crushed at the ending-I thought it was heading that way but I was still shocked.
