A to Z Book Blogger Survey!

Jamie from The Perpetual Page-Turner created this awesome bookish survey. I've seen it posted around a few sites and since I haven't done a survey in a while, I thought "Lets Do This!"

Author You've Read The Most Books From
If we are talking actual books, then I believe that would be Jennifer L. Armentrout. I have read a total of 14 books written by Jennifer under her real name and her pen name J. Lynn.  Love ALL her books.
Best Sequel Ever
This is super hard. I'm going to have to  go with Stealing Harper because its was the first book ever to make me cry real tears. I loved Taking Chances but Stealing Parker struck a special chord in me.
Currently Reading
Right now I am almost finished with The Bone Season written by Samantha Shannon and I started Beautiful Bombshell by Christina Lauren.
Drink of Choice While Reading
Hmmm, I don't really have a choice since 90% of my reading is done in bed. If I am reading at the park or something I'll probably be sipping on soda or a red bull.
E-reader or physical book?
I prefer the physical book. It feels like when I read ebooks I take longer to finish a book that when I have the actual copy in my hand.
Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated in High School
man, another one that's hard to choose just one. Its would be a bad-boy or a sports jock for sure. Ok so the name that keeps coming to my mind is Beau Vincent from Abbi Glines' The Vincent Brothers. You have got to love a bad boy as sexy as Beau.
Glad You Gave This Book a Chance
Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma was that book I am so happy I finally gave a chance because it became one of my all-time favorite books read. I truly recommend it to everyone.
Hidden Gem Book
The River of Time series by Lisa T. Bergren. First off its not a genre I normally would pick up because its historical but I am so glad I did. Everyone should try this series out. Here is the reading order Waterfall (#1), Cascade (#2), Torrent (#3), Bourne (#3.1), Tributary (#3.2) and Deluge (#4 - not published yet).
Important Moment in Your Reading Life
The day I picked up Twilight, I can say it changed my life.
Just Finished
I just finished Origin by Jennifer L. Armentrout the 4th book in Lux series. It was AMAZEBALLS!
Kinds of Books You Won't Read
I have a hard time getting into Steampunk, so I tend to not pick those books up. I also refuse to read books that have children being murdered or raped. It just a no no in my book as a mother.
Longest Book You've Read
With 756 pages that book would be Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer. Then Acheron by Sherrilyn Kenyon coming in close 2nd with 722 pages.
Major Book Hangover Because of
I'm going to go with Don't Breathe a Word by Holly Cupala. That book left me in such  state. Thanks to that books I began reading more realistic fiction books.
Number of Bookcases You Own
I no longer own just bookcases, I actually now have my own personal library at home. Last year my house burn down and when we began the rebuild, I asked that one full wall in my office be built-ins.

One Book You Have Read Multiple Times
I am not one to reread books but The Twilight Saga changed that. The series I have read more than 5 times that I can recall and Twilight itself more than 10 times. It never gets old.
Preferred Place to Read
That would probably be were I do 90% of my reading which is in bed at night. Everyone is asleep and no one will interrupt my reading. This is why you will catch me sometimes going to sleep finally at 4 or 5am.
Quote That Inspires You
“There is no friend as loyal as a book.”  – Ernest Hemingway
Reading Regret
I don't think I have any really. Maybe that I wasn't informed about the whole book blogging world and wished I could have started earlier.
Series You Started and Need to Finish (series is complete)
Richelle Mead's Vampire Academy. I have only finished reading the 1st book in the series and have yet to start the rest. I won them all but its making the time to fit them in my review schedule. I will though. Ill probably do it as each movie gets released now.
Three of Your All Time Favorite Books
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer, Lover Awakened by J.R. Ward and Angelfall by Susan Ee.
Unapologetic Fangirl For
TWILIGHT BABY!!  I have no shame in my game when it comes to fangirling still about Twilight. Its beyond just a book I read, Twilight is much more.
Very Excited for This Release More Than All the Others
This is an easy one. That release would be for ALLEGIANT by Veronica Roth. I need that book like I need oxygen.
Worst Bookish Habit
Taking physical books to read while I shower. Not a bath but actual shower. I have pretty good at not getting them wet but the humidity will make the cover curl if paperback.
X Marks the Spot: Start at the top left of your shelf and pick the 27th book
Ok if I count the 27th book on the top row of my library that book is The Lonely Hearts Club by Elizabeth Eulberg. If I count the 27th book in the review shelf then its Split Second by Kasie West.
Your Latest Book Purchase
I have a friend that just attended Naught Mafia in Vegas and she bought for me to get personalized Beautiful Bastard, Beautiful Stranger and Beautiful Bombshell from Christina Lauren plus Wallbanger by lice Clayton to add to my personalized collection. As for books I bought myself in person, I attend the S.W.E.A.T. tour in Houston and purchased Let the Sky Fall by Shannon Messenger, Pivot Point by Kasie West, Reboot by Amy Tintera and Mila 2.0 by Debra Driza also to add to my personalized collection.
ZZZ-Snatcher Book (last one that kept you up way too late)
Racing Savannah by Miranda Kenneally I read in one night and I believe I finally went to bed about 5 or 6am. All of Miranda's books have kept me up all night finishing. I just can't put them down for some reason. Ha, probably because they are awesome.

  1. Your library is amazing! Just sorry that it took such a traumatic event for you to have one built. I hope everything's okay now.
