Inhaling in life is easy. It’s the exhaling—the letting go— that’s the hard part.

Katie Elliot has always known the Conner twins. For years she secretly pined after one, while playfully averting the advances of the other. Once upon a time, she was fine with that. Then came the moment when her twin of preference kissed her and changed everything.

As if realizing love can be complex—even when it’s reciprocated—isn’t hard enough, tragedy strikes, tearing Katie and the boy she’s always desired apart. Finding herself torn between love and guilt, Katie must learn when it’s acceptable to let go—when it’s finally okay to exhale.

Wow. Just ... WOW! Each time I read a book created by Jennifer Snyder, I am just amazed. I think to myself "she has done it AGAIN!" I can not say enough great things about this story. I read this in less than 10 hours and I think you will too. Once you pick it up, you won't put it down. I can almost guarantee that!

This is a story of one girl and two boys who were thick as thieves ... three peas in a pod, as some would say. Katie, Kyle and Derek grew up together and lived next door to each other. The twin Connor boys have all of the girls swooning, with their dark hair and amazing green eyes. Kyle is outgoing, boisterous and just plain fun to be around .. the life of any party. His twin Derek however, is the shy, quiet, romantic type. Derek is the sensible and responsible one, where Kyle is the crazy, die hard partier.

One of the boys is over the top in love with Katie, but Katie is over the top in love with the other. It has always been this way.  Katie sometimes thinks that she should go for the one who loves her (since they look exactly alike after all), but the heart wants what the heart wants.

The two finally find their way to each other as Katie always dreamed, until tragedy strikes. Over powering, gut wrenching tragedy. This tragedy places a wedge between the young lovers and they each wonder if they will ever make it back to one another. Guilt, confusion, sadness and immense pain play a part in their separation. Will they ever forgive themselves and will they find their way back to love?

As soon as I finished this book, I sent Jennifer a message telling her that she made me ugly cry!! Get your tissues ready ladies and gents, you will need them. Although it was sad, it was beautiful at the same time. I thank you again for an amazing read Jennifer, you've definitely done it again. Happy reading one and all!
