Fifteen-year-old Rory Adair has a secret—dreams that foreshadow what is to come. Excited about finally meeting the hot, tall, blue-eyed guy from one of those dreams, she is shocked when he turns out to be identical twin brothers Bryce and Ryder Wyatt, both of whom take an instant interest in her and compete for her attention.

As Rory tries to use her secret ability to help her decide which brother to ask to the Sadie Hawkins Dance, the dreams start to change. Something bad is going to happen, but before she can figure out how to warn her friends without revealing her secret, her best friend Stacey goes missing.

Rory teams up with Bryce, who has a secret ability of his own. Together they use their abilities, intellect, and gut instinct to find the missing women. Can Rory sort through her feelings for the Wyatt brothers—and find her friend—before she loses them all?

I don’t know about you but sleeping is my favorite thing to do, you know besides reading. And when this book was available for a tour I was on that! The best part of sleeping is when your mind takes you on all these crazy adventures and you run into weird random people you haven’t seen in years, but in Dreamer our girl Rory has dreams that will eventually come true.

So we’ve out our main protagonist Rory who finds herself in an insane situation where she sees the future in her dreams, with no one to trust with this secret what will she do when she sees something potentially dangerous. We pick up when Rory is meeting a very dreamy man in her dreams, who just so happens to be a twin. When both boys pine after Rory that’s when I thought I would run, but heck these boys were dreamy and twins, they share chromosomes of course it’ll be hard to choose which one! But when Rory’s dreams start becoming frightening and girls are coming up missing she doesn’t know what to do and who to trust, but she’s has to put her twin dilemma on hold.

You know what the best part of this book was? The dreams! It was like a preview into the future of the book and obviously her life and what is going to follow. And as much as I enjoyed the boys in this book, I really loved when Rory was using her dreams to help investigate the kidnappings.
I would definitely recommend this book to the mystery lovers out there; this YA book was fun and refreshing.

  1. Thanks for hosting me on your blog! My favorite part of writing Dreamer was figuring out how the dreams would play a part in solving the mystery. I am currently working on book 2. There is another mystery of course and I always have to have some romance too!
