Annie hates running. No matter how far she jogs, she can’t escape the guilt that if she hadn’t broken up with Kyle, he might still be alive. So to honor his memory, she starts preparing for the marathon he intended to race.

But the training is even more grueling than Annie could have imagined. Despite her coaching, she’s at war with her body, her mind—and her heart. With every mile that athletic Jeremiah cheers her on, she grows more conflicted. She wants to run into his arms…and sprint in the opposite direction. For Annie, opening up to love again may be even more of a challenge than crossing the finish line.

"Breathe, Annie, Breathe is an emotional, heartfelt, and beautiful story about finding yourself after loss and learning to love. It gave me so many feels. Her best book yet." — Jennifer Armentrout, New York Times bestselling author of Wait for You

Okay, where in the world have I been? I never came across one of the many books of Miranda Kenneally and I smacking my head. This woman is brilliant! Within minutes of reading Breathe, Annie, Breathe, Miranda had me crying and laughing. Completely bipolar emotions within seconds. With great writing and super awesome characters, Breathe, Annie, Breathe was an amazing read!

Right from the beginning, Annie will capture your attention. She is recently lost someone important in her life and to honor his memory, she is preparing to run a marathon. As the story progress, you relate to her because if you lost someone that you loved dearly, you want nothing but to make them proud. And this is what she wants to do. As she trains for the upcoming event, she meets an adrenaline-and-hot junkie named Jeremiah. Annie feels guilty for having feelings for him, but as he helps her train, she starts opening for love again.

OMG, did I mention that Miranda is brilliant?! I am officially a fan of hers. This story had me on tears and smiling at the same time. Her characters felt so alive. I felt so connected with them. Annie, the insecure and shy girl has now opened her heart to this unbelievable and amazing guy. Jeremiah is everything you want in a guy. He is a gorgeous guy with a sweet and caring heart. I was swooning over him. so. much! Not to mentioned that Miranda mentioned many of my favorites movies! Seriously, Annie and I could be best friends! I loved how she defended her love for these movies, I was laughing out loud.

Right after I was done with Breathe, Annie, Breathe I literally bought her previous book of her Hundred Oak series! Seriously, if you haven’t read any of her books, I highly recommend that you start now. Breathe, Annie, Breathe left me with hunger for more.

  1. I have only read Catching Jordan but I loved it! I own the rest of this series but for some reason I haven't found the time to read them yet. Need to move them up.

Glad Miranda made a fan out of you.
    Thanks for the great review!
