What the mind forgets, the heart remembers.
Alone in a train station bathroom, Sophia Hernandez has no memory of who she is or how she got there. All she’s certain of are three things: her college ID is a lie, bad people are coming for her, and no one can be trusted.
The only clue to her past is the fellow student who finds her. Although Sophia’s gut tells her Kyle is lying when he claims he can’t help her, his touch makes her heart race. Is it because of a red-hot natural attraction, or a missing memory of something far more dangerous?
As two mysterious, menacing men chase them from the station, Sophia’s memories return in frustrating fragments. So do deadly skills she didn’t know she had. In the next forty-eight hours, a loved one’s life will be on the line as she sifts through a mounting tangle of secrets and lies.
Including the most heart-wrenching secret of all. Not only isn’t she a normal college student, she isn’t even a normal human.
Warning: Contains one girl who is more than she seems, one boy who knows more than he’s telling, and enough twists to give you whiplash. Expect explosions of all kinds.
Revive starts off at a train station where we meet Sophia who has no recollection of who she is and why she's even at a train station. And immediately the action starts in this fast paced, thrill of a book! Sophia recovers pieces of her memory and as she does we get every twist and turn imaginable. You'll have the pages turning so fast before you know it you're done.
I loved Revived! It was a truly fun read and highly entertaining. I felt the way you feel when you binge watch an insanely good show on Netflix. Revive brings out all the feels a romance, action packed, mystery book can bring. The characters were so cool and awesome. I loved each of them for different reasons. No one got lost in the mix for me. They were each unique in their own way and I couldn't find a flaw.
Though Sophia did annoy me at the start of the book, because she repeats herself so much, I grew to love her and appreciate her as I did Tracey Martin's writing style. A+
I can't say too much without spoiling it, but read the summary and believe every word of when they say "enough twists to give you whiplash." IT WILL TOTALLY GIVE YOU WHIPLASH. Revive keeps you guessing til the very end and who doesn't love that in a book!? Seriously, I had my theories during reading but when the truths come out I loved being wrong about said theories.
It was about time I dove into another great series! The only downside? Playing the waiting to game til the next installment is available! LOL. Revive was incredibly enjoyable and I am anxiously awaiting the next installment in this series!
She likes her coffee simple, her music epic, and her movies to contain explosions. A city girl at heart, she doesn’t understand how she and her husband ended up living in New Hampshire, but writing keeps her off the mean, small town streets. You can find her online at tracey-martin.com.
