An Interview with Wendy Higgins, 2016 Romantic Times (RT) Convention Author!

The RT Booklovers Convention is the book-industry event where you can mix business with pleasure. Attend more than 200 workshops as well as numerous parties and reader events that will keep you informed and in touch while having fun. It's where friends new and old come together to learn about the industry we love and to have fun with authors and fellow book lovers. Fifty percent of conventioneers are first-time RT Convention attendees, and many travel by themselves. However, almost all leave having made new friendships they'll cherish for years to come.

And today we want to share with you an interview with Wendy Higgins, whom will be attending RT this year.

1- How many books have you written? Which is your favorite?
I've written seven and three-quarters books. The book of my heart is my very first story, Sweet Evil.

2- How about characters? Is there any of your characters you like best?
Kaidan Rowe from the Sweet series--English drummer, son of the demon of Lust--yeah, he'll always have the biggest place in my heart since he spent so much time in my head over a five year timespan.

3- What's up next for you?
I'm currently working on my first NA series. Book one, titled Unknown, is coming out this summer, August 2016. It's an apocalyptic sci-fi romance and I'm loving it!!

4- Why do you enjoy coming to RT/what are you looking forward to at RT?
This will be my first RT, though I've wanted to come for years! Being surrounded by other romance readers and writers means I'm going to be in my element. Book people have such positive, exciting energy. I cannot wait!

5- What's your favorite romance story?

This is too hard! I'm currently reading an adult high fantasy romance called the Tairen Soul series by C.L. Wilson, and they have immediately jumped to my favorites shelf. So good!! On the YA side, I love the Poison Princess series by Kresley Cole, and the Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout.
