Digital Remarques are also available live and in person at shows, giving fans the ability to commission original digital Remarques live at Booth #2314 during San Diego Comic-Con. Of course, for fans who own eligible Neon Ichiban comics can simply present the unique QR code tied to their purchase. Creators scan the code using Neon Ichiban's Signer app to instantly authenticate and apply a personalized digital signature.
There will be a Digital Remarque Fast-Pass dedicated queue running alongside traditional print signings thatlets fans skip to the front of the line, commission a one-of-one personalized Digital Remarque - a signature and/or sketch - directly from the creator, and own a piece of comics history.
Before, after and during Comic-Con, creators will continue accepting Commissionable Remarques online through Neon Ichiban, bringing the Artist Alley experience to fans around the world year-round.
"Comic conventions have always been where creators and fans build lasting relationships," said David Steinberger, CEO & Co-Founder of Neon Ichiban. "Whether fans meet creators at Booth #2314 this week or commission a personalized Remarque months from now, we're creating a future where those relationships don't end when the convention closes. Scott's Collectables helps us extend that experience far beyond four days in San Diego while giving creators a powerful new way to grow their business."
Scott's Collectables has built one of the industry's most respected creator representation businesses, connecting fans with premier comic book talent through convention appearances, original art, and exclusive events. Through this long-term partnership, talent represented by Scott's Collectables will join Neon Ichiban's Commissionable Remarques program, making authenticated digital signatures and original sketches available to fans around the world.
"We've spent years bringing creators and fans together at conventions," said Dan Scott, Owner of Scott's Collectables. "Commissionable Remarques are a natural evolution of that experience. They give our creators another way to connect with fans who can't always make it to a show, while creating exciting new opportunities that continue long after the convention ends."
The partnership will make its public debut at Booth #2314, where Neon Ichiban and Scott's Collectables will host an extensive signing schedule featuring some of comics' biggest names. The booth will also showcase Neon Ichiban—Your New Home for Digital Comics & Manga, highlighting the platform's growing community, marketplace, and creator tools.
"Artist Alley has always been one of the most magical parts of comic conventions," said Chip Mosher, CCO & Co-Founder of Neon Ichiban. "Commissionable Remarques let fans experience that magic whether they're standing in line at Booth #2314 or sitting halfway around the world months later. Now, with some of the most talented creators in comics on board through Scott's Collectables, that vision just got a whole lot more real."
