Kiss the Stars was awesome. It has been a minute since I have read or reviewed an A.L. Jackson book so to say I was excited to get my hands on this book was a huge understatement.

I was a hugeeeeee fan of Jackson’s Bleeding Stars series so the expectations were pretty high to begin with on this book. It starts off with Mia, a single mother hiding out from a crazy hectic situation at her brother’s house until things cool off. Her brother is none other than Lyrik from Where Lightning Strikes. I freaking loved this dynamic. I loved seeing characters I have read and loved before. It’s like seeing an old friend.

Leif was very freaking mysterious and surrounded with so much suspense. I love the feelings Jackson evoked in me with this character and the emotions of Mia and Leif together. Both of them have dealt with so much but their chemistry is off the charts.

I’m rating this book 4.5 stars because it was really good and I was able to read it in one day. I loved it!  A.L. Jackson comes through once again.  I recommend all of her books and can't wait to read more!

A smirk pulled at the corner of Maxon’s mouth where he had me backed against the wall. “You act like I have some other place to be.”
 
Redness flushed. “Don’t act like you don’t have plenty of people to entertain you.” I hoped it didn’t sound like bitterness, like scorn, but it was hard to keep that from quivering in my voice.
 
He moved even closer and planted his hands over my head. So close I could feel need oozing from his skin, his breath on my face, blueberries and ice. “There’s no one else, Izzy. No one I want. No one I can’t breathe without. It’s always been you.”
 
Desire pulled at my stomach, knottin’ it up tight. I pressed my thighs together, and he caught it, scenting my need.
 
Hot air puffed out of his nostrils like the dragon he was, and I was shivering. Shaking like a leaf.
 
He moved his hand, slowly, watching me carefully as he dropped it down and placed it on my bare thigh.
 
Right up under the skirt of my dress.
 
The breath left me on a staggered gasp. Tingles flashed. Flames licking and lapping.

He edged down, nose brushing mine, a soft inhale between his lips.
 
Breathing me in.
 
Then he pressed his mouth to mine. Featherlight.
 
Didn’t matter how soft it was.
 
Lightning streaked. A crack of thunder in the air.
 
He pressed our mouths tighter, lips closed, just this persistent pressure that felt so right.

An apology.

Once again I am blown away reading a A.L. Jackson book.  I read, or should I say DEVOURED, book one in the "Confessions of the Heart" series.  Book one is aptly named "More of You".  I want more of this series, immediately. 

I know this series is going to swallow me up.  A.L. Jackson has the ability to grab you from the second you crack open the book or device.  I absolutely loved this second chance romance.  Second chance romances are sometimes hard for me to get into but A.L. Jackson could write the phone book and I'd read it. 

I fell in love with these characters.  I loved their story.  I loved the beauty of their love. I love that I felt so many things while reading this book.  I felt happiness, sadness, pain, giddiness, ALL THE FREAKING FEELS.  There is so much depth to this book and I was taken on such a journey from the very beginning.  I highly recommend this book and am eagerly waiting for the next book.

Once again, A.L. Jackson has left me completely in awe of her work.  There has never been a book by her, that I didn't get immediately consumed by.  That takes serious talent with my "SQUIRREL Syndrome"  From the very freakin first page I was hooked.  This story is so beautiful and heart wrenching.  Ughhhh I'm a mess for words.  Just so good.

Kale has officially become my favorite hero by A.L. Jackson.  I know I say this every time, with every new book she comes out with but I can't help it.  Kale is so beautiful, sexy, and smart.  He has shut the door on his heart, though, and it takes a special woman to get through.

Hope has also become my favorite heroine.  I seriously fell in love with her immediately.  She's gorgeous, smart, and so strong.  I really want her as a best friend.  The two had insane chemistry when they met.  One thing A.L. Jackson is brilliant at, is giving that intense, butterfly feeling that leaps off the page.  Molten. Freaking. Lava.  I love their banter together also, I felt myself smiling while I read the two interact. 

I am rating this book 5 stars because A.L. Jackson has written us another master piece, guys.  Please, do yourself a favor, go follow her on all the social medias (linked below) and one click all of her books.  She never disappoints.  SOOOOO SOOOOO good.  I can't say enough about it.  I'm already planning to re-read it this weekend.
