Directed by Jon Favreau (“Iron Man”), based on Rudyard Kipling’s timeless stories and inspired by Disney’s classic animated film, “The Jungle Book” is an all-new live-action epic adventure about Mowgli (newcomer Neel Sethi), a man-cub who’s been raised by a family of wolves. But Mowgli finds he is no longer welcome in the jungle when fearsome tiger Shere Khan (voice of Idris Elba), who bears the scars of Man, promises to eliminate what he sees as a threat. Urged to abandon the only home he’s ever known, Mowgli embarks on a captivating journey of self-discovery, guided by panther-turned-stern mentor Bagheera (voice of Ben Kingsley), and the free-spirited bear Baloo (voice of Bill Murray). Along the way, Mowgli encounters jungle creatures who don’t exactly have his best interests at heart, including Kaa (voice of Scarlett Johansson), a python whose seductive voice and gaze hypnotizes the man-cub, and the smooth-talking King Louie (voice of Christopher Walken), who tries to coerce Mowgli into giving up the secret to the elusive and deadly red flower: fire. The all-star cast also includes Lupita Nyong'o as the voice of the fiercely protective mother wolf Raksha, and Giancarlo Esposito as the voice of wolf pack’s alpha male Akela. “The Jungle Book” seamlessly blends live-action with photorealistic CGI animals and environments, using up-to-the-minute technology and storytelling techniques to immerse audiences in an enchanting and lush world.

I’m so excited to be able to say that THE JUNGLE BOOK is now playing in theatres everywhere! I had the chance to watch an early screening and it was amazing! You all need to go watch it. I usually do not do 3D as I get headaches but I highly recommend everyone to watch it in 3D.

In celebration of THE JUNGLE BOOK opening, Disney shared this amazing video highlighting the voices in the film including Bill Murray (“Baloo”), Sir Ben Kingsley (“Bagheera”), Lupita Nyong’o (“Raksha”), Scarlett Johansson (“Kaa”), Idris Elba (“Shere Khan”), Christopher Walken (“King Louie”), Giancarlo Esposito (“Akela”) and Neel Sethi who plays Mowgli, the only live action character in the film!

Movie Review: Millenium Films' London Has Fallen

London Has Fallen

After the British Prime Minister has passed away under mysterious circumstances, all leaders of the Western world must attend his funeral. But what starts out as the most protected event on earth, turns into a deadly plot to kill the world's most powerful leaders and unleash a terrifying vision of the future. The President of the United States, his formidable secret service head and an English MI-6 agent who trusts no one are the only people that have any hope of stopping it.

The British Prime Minister dies, at first it is thought to be of natural causes although it is completely sudden. But it means that all of the leaders of the Western world will attend his funeral. Which means the perfect plan for a massive attack on these leaders - ensuring that most of them will die. All in the attempt to kill the President of the United States.

Let me be honest - I went into this film not realizing it was the sequel to Olympus Has Fallen...which when I look back now I'm wondering just how I could have possibly missed this. But in all honesty I didn't see Olympus Has Fallen. So upon entering the theater and realizing that this was a sequel I was a little bit worried that I would be lost. Of course I can't tell you if I was really lost, but I would say I wasn't. So if you want to see an action film, and not have to worry about seeing it's prequel then you're safe in watching London Has Fallen.

This is a great action film. You get the story set up, and once all the world leaders are in England then the action starts and is pretty much the only thing happening for the rest of the movie. It's not too hard to follow the story - which is great because sometimes you just need a movie where you don't have to think too much about what's going on.

There were so many one-liners that definitely made the movie even more enjoyable. It allowed you to laugh even throughout all the violence that was occurring in the film.
