Directed by Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda, co-directed by Eric Guillon and written by Cinco Paul & Ken Daurio, the animated film is produced by Illumination's Chris Meledandri and Janet Healy, and executive produced by Chris Renaud. After Gru is fired from the Anti-Villain League the Minions hope he will use this opportunity to return to a life of crime, but when Gru makes it clear that he's retired from all that, the Minions quit and head out on their own. Minion Mel leads the strike against Gru, and emerges as their new leader…of sorts. Joining Steve Carell and Kristen Wiig in Despicable Me 3 is Emmy, Tony and Grammy Award winner Trey Parker, co-creator of Comedy Central's global phenomenon South Park and the Broadway smash The Book of Mormon. Parker voices the role of villain Balthazar Bratt, a former child star who's grown up to become obsessed with the character he played in the '80s, and proves to be Gru's most formidable nemesis to date.

Before and during the game, fans are invited to receive a temporary tattoo custom designed to look like 'prison-style' tattoos (pictures above) at the Despicable Me 3 Tattoo Parlor that will be located in the Xfinity Lounge at SunTrust Park.

Another special thing about these tattoos is that they are hologram tattoos or "holo-tatts". Visitors will be able to download an app, scan the tattoo with their camera phone, and see a hologram appear.

Universal City, CA, November 14, 2016—Illumination Entertainment, Universal Pictures and AMC Theatres today announced a Thanksgiving weekend event for audiences of all ages: “Sing Saturday,” a celebration of free screenings of the new event film from Illumination at 200 AMC Theatres nationwide, on November 26. From the creators of Despicable Me, Sing—in which Academy Award® winners Matthew McConaughey and Reese Witherspoon lead an all-star cast—arrives nationwide on December 21, 2016.

Tickets for “Sing Saturday” screenings are available on a first-come, first-served basis to the first 200 moviegoers in line at participating AMC Theatres on Saturday, November 26 (10 a.m. local time). Audiences are encouraged to bring their family and friends of all ages and experience the film Variety calls “a game changer.” Moviegoers must be in line to receive a ticket for the screening.

In their fifth fully animated feature-film collaboration, Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures present The Secret Life of Pets, a comedy about the lives our pets lead when we leave for work or school. Max, voiced by Louis C.K., is a loyal terrier living a perfectly happy existence until his owner, Katie (Ellie Kemper) brings home Duke (Eric Stonestreet) a big, boisterous mutt she finds at the shelter. When Max and his unruly new “roommate” slip away from their dog-walker, they find themselves lost in the urban jungle of New York City. In an attempt to stay ahead of animal control and a rebel band of abandoned pets led by an unhinged bunny named Snowball (Kevin Hart), they put aside their differences to survive the epic journey back home.

First-look images for Mower Minions!

LAS VEGAS, NV – April 13, 2016 – During a presentation showcasing the future projects of Illumination Entertainment at CinemaCon today in Las Vegas, the company’s founder and CEO, Chris Meledandri, announced that Mower Minions—a never-before-seen short film starring the Minions—will debut with Illumination and Universal’s new film, The Secret Life of Pets, when it arrives in theaters domestically on July 8, 2016, and also all around the world. Correlating to the format in which The Secret Life of Pets is showing in specific theaters, Mower Minions will be available in both 3D and 2D.

The short film stars the iconic Minions, who first appeared in the blockbuster Despicable Me series and who most recently starred in 2015’s massive hit Minions, which grossed more than $1.15 billion at the global box office and became the second-biggest animated title of all time. Continuing the unpredictable adventures of Gru’s curious and subversively sweet band of yellow brothers, Mower Minions represents the first time ever that Illumination has released a short film theatrically.

“It’s been a year since Minions appeared on movie screens, and will be another year until they show up in Despicable Me 3 next summer.
