End of 2010 Survey!

The Perpetual Page-Turner is hosting this end of year survey. So I decided to take part in this fun survey. The survery consist of 15 book questions and 7 Book Blogging questions. So here goes nothing! Ive decided I will be leaving out the blogging questions, Im just short for time today since its New Years Eve.

1. Best Book of 2010: Even though this is a hard question but this answer I truly know. Nightshade by Andrea Cremer was my 2010 book of the year. It took me back to how I felt after I read the twilight series. That withdrawal, sadness and longing for the next book of course. This book is just pure Magic to me.

2. Not my Style Book of 2010: I will have to go with the book I gave 1 star to because I couldn't finish it. That book is Raised by Wolves by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. I pick up and put down this book a few times and made myself try and get to 100 pages, which I did. Ive said it could have been just me or the book, but we weren't getting along. Maybe in the future I will try and read it once more and give it one more chance.

3. Most Disappointing Book of 2010: I will give this to Dead in the Family by Charlaine Harris. I was let down with how weak this Sookie Stackhouse book ended up being. I guess all books in a series cant be 5 stars, it was still good to read but I expected more. This was the 10th book so the 9 before were all better.

4. Most Surprising (in a good way!) Book of 2010: I will have to say SEA by Heidi R. Kling. I started reading this book thinking it was going to be a let down because of how real the storyline was but what do you know, It was Beautiful to read.

5. Book you recommended to people most in 2010?: Thats easy! Nightshade by Andrea Cremer again takes this one. As soon as I finished I havent stop telling everyone and their Grandmother about this Amazing book.

6. Best Series you discovered in 2010? The Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa. So far there is The Iron King #1, Winter's Passage #1.5, The Iron Daughter #2 and The Iron Queen and coming soon The Iron Knight #4. This is one of those series that gets better and better, You will want to read this series if you haven't yet.

7. Favorite New Author you discovered in 2010?: Andrea Cremer, Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl, Lani Woodland and Anastasia Hopcus are just a few, I can go on and on.

8. Most Hilarious read of 2010?: I didnt have a specific book that made me laugh, but a few had characters with great witty lines.

9. Most Thrilling, unputdownable book in 2010?: Wow these questions are so hard to narrow down to one, so I will say Shadow Hills by Anastasia Hopcus since I read in less than 24 hrs.

10. Book you most anticipated in 2010?: Lover Mine by J.R. Ward, Im a huge fan of the Black Dagger Brotherhood series.

11. Favorite Cover of a book you read in 2010?: I truly fell in love with the sparkly and purple cover of Nightshade.

12. Most memorable character in 2010?: Katniss from The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.

13. Most Beautifully written book in 2010?: Another hard choice, Nightshade by Andrea Cremer but I will also say Sea since it was so real in nature.

14. Book that had the greatest impact on you in 2010?: Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins it really makes you think about the future and life.

15. Book you can't believe you waited UNTIL 2010 to finally read?: Fallen by Lauren Kate, I just finished it not even a week ago when it came out in 2009.
