I held on to this book for over a year, so I could read when the 5th book would be released. So the time has finally come and I'm glad I did it that way. The author knows cliff hanger. She creates such big cliff hangers that with previous books I threw the book at the floor when I was done. Not because it was bad just because the way she left it off till next book. Dreamfever starts off real Hot and Heavy, that you can blink or you might miss a word. Karen writes such well described characters and such suspense. You heart will be racing as you read these pages and then you will be tortured with the ending.

Mac is back and starts of where she is turning into Pri-Ya by the Unseelie Princes. You ask what is Pri-Ya read the series and find out. This book is not for anyone under the age of 18 possibly 21. There is tons of sexual situations , not always the love dovey type. So if you are a teenager you might want to hold off reading this series for a couple of years. Mac is then rescued by her real good friend that only 13 years old Dani. Dani is one tough little girl for her age, a few fear her. Barrons of course comes to take Mac from the Abbey where Dani brought her after the situation on Halloween. Barron helps Mac recover and she finally breaks free from being Pri-Ya. I don't want to give to much away. If you want to read a intense and dark series, this is the one. The Author once said when she thought of this story, it came to her as one piece, so she has broken it into 5 pieces, so the endings are murder to us the readers but oh so good. I am now currently reading Shadowfever #5 and its keeping pace with all the rest so far. Look for the review soon.

Summary: He has stolen her past, but MacKayla will never allow her sister's murderer to take her future. Yet even the uniquely gifted sidhe-seer is no match for the Lord Master, who has unleashed an insatiable sexual craving that consumes Mac's every thought-and thrusts her into the seductive realm of two very dangerous men, both of whom she desires but dares not trust.
As the enigmatic Jericho Barrons and the sensual Fae prince V"lane vie for her body and soul, as cryptic entries from her sister's diary mysteriously appear and the power of the Dark Book weaves its annihilating path through the city, Mac's greatest enemy delivers a final challenge...
It's an invitation Mac cannot refuse, one that sends her racing home to Georgia, where an even darker threat awaits. With her parents missing and the lives of her loved ones under siege, Mac is about to come face-to-face with a soul-shattering truth-about herself and her sister, about Jericho Barrons...and about the world she thought she knew.
