Vampyre Kisses has been selected to join my list of favorite books. It's a wonderfull book that explains in detail the supernatural world of a witch, vampire, werewolf , shap-shifter and more. Elizabeth did an amazing job at painting a picture with words in her story. I loved the plot because it was funny, mysterious, and continued to surprise me. I loved Faith because of her sassy attitude and how she took control of situation although she has no idea why or how she has done so. I especially LOVE Trent. He's such a lovenly protector that i wouldn't mind having him around. Over all this book captured my interest from the beginning to the end and i enjoyed reading every page until the end. The way it ended seemed to me as there will be a sequel, in which i will get asap! I recommened this book.

Faith is a young women who has an average job, with an average aparatment in the city. You can say she's average. Her has passed away and she loved him dearly. She has her mom, but is not that closed to her. Overall, she has a boring life. That's until she learns the truth about her father, the secrests of her mother and a huge secret about herself. While all this chaos begins and in the middle of it all, she meets Trent and is falling for him, but can she trust him after everything she knew turns out to be something else?

You HAVE to read this book, it's amazing.!

Summary:
Vampyre Kisses is an enthralling story about a young woman named Faith, who seems content with her life, but deep down craves more excitement. Then a mysterious man named Trent enters her world and everything changes. Surprising to Faith, Trent is a green-eyed vampire from Ireland. She is even more amazed to find out that she is a witch, and the last of her kind.

Faith learns that she is destined to restore her witch line and becomes more powerful as she gains confidence and knowledge, but danger lurks everywhere -- especially when unknown assailants steal the most important gems from the vampire master and werewolf royalty.

Now surrounded by a world filled with mystifying vampires and werewolves, can Faith gain enough power to help her friends and rescue the stolen gems?

"A welcome addition to the vampire/werewolf corpus. Building on traditional legends, Kolodziej creates a world both vast in its sweep and compelling in its details." Stephen Delaney -- Writer, Teacher & Editor

Now here is Jenny's Interview with Elizabeth J. Kolodziej:

1.  What inspired you to write Vampyre Kisses?
I would have to say it is my love for the supernatural. I have always had this odd fascination with witches, vampires, werewolves, etc. Then one day I got this idea and went with it. What kept inspiring me to go on with finishing the book was my friends and family who supported me through it all.
 2. How did you come up with the concept of the Vampyre Kiss?
One night I was in twilight and in my ear I heard a fairy whispering a story to me of a vampyre that roamed the night. The fairy told me to be careful of this vampyre, but I said, “It’s ok… I was given the vampyre kiss. He will not be able to harm me or drink of my blood unless I give my permission.”
 3. All the detailed information about how Faith was trained to be a witch was interesting, Was that made up?
To my knowledge it was something that came from my own imagination. Though I read lots of different books on different types of magic, rituals, ceremonies, and so on and so forth to help inspire it.
 4. Will there be a sequel to the Vampyre Kisses? What are you working on next?
Actually, I am right now finishing up the sequel to Vampyre Kisses. For some reason the title to this book is eluding me at the moment. However, I have the last chapter to write and after some beta readers help me out and my lovely editor, Stephen Delaney, takes a crack at it, it will be done. I really had so much fun writing the second one. I am hoping for a late summer release if possible.
Also, I am working on getting some short stories of mine put into some anthology books. I have one that is a werewolf horror story, another that will be a ghost story, along with working on an erotic romance story. It is so much fun to try my hand at different types of genres.
5.  How can a reader contact you, or purchase your book?
An easy way to do this is to check out my website www.vampyrekisses.com
Or http://amzn.to/i1eBsn will take you to the amazon where there is a paperback and ebook version.

  1. I totally have the memory of a fish. I forgot about this going up today until I saw the post at twitter! I apologize. BUT WOW! You liked it so much! I am so happy you did. And yes the sequel SHOULD (dont quote me) be coming out this year. I just finished the last chapter the other night. Though I kinda feel like there is still one or two more chapters needed. But besides the point I am so ecstatic you liked it that much! Thank you!

Thank you very much for answering all of my interview questions, it's great to learn where the ideas behind a great story come from. I have had my fair share of witch stories and by far your description on the training with Faith was my favorite. I look forward to reading your next sequel, stay tuned for the review!
