NYT Best Sellers List

So today I decided to check out the New York Times Best Seller list for February 6th 2011. If you want to see the complete listing, CLICK HERE. Its great when you see some of the books your familiar with and those that are favorites on the list.


  • Shadowfever by Karen Marie Moning is still #1 in the Hardcover Fiction list. Doesn't surprise me at all, since Fans like myself of the Fever series have been waiting for the final book in the series to know what the conclusion is. 
  • Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen is #2 in the Paperback Trade Fiction list. This book has pick up in popularity because of the movie coming out this year. I have the book in my TBR pile that I will read closer to the release of the movie. 
  • How to Woo a Reluctant Lady by Sabrina Jeffries is #4 in the Paperback Mass-Market Fiction list. We just finished reading and reviewing this book in the blog. CLICK HERE for the review.
  • Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert is #5 in the Paperback Nonfiction list. Here at the blog we have read the book, CLICK HERE for review. We have also seen the movie. For being a non-fiction book I really enjoyed reading it. 
  • I Am Number Four by Pittacus Lore is #5 in the Children's Chapter Books list. This is actually the book i will be starting tomorrow. I want to read it before the movie is released this month. 
  • Matched by Ally Condie is #9 in the Children's Chapter Books list. I read this book and thought it was good not great. I do plan on reading the next one in the series. Sometimes series start off slow for me and then become favorites. CLICK HERE for review.
  • The Lying Game by Sara Shepard is #8 in the Children's Chapter Books list. I've read great thing about this book. Hope to be able to read in in the next month or so. 
  • Fallen by Lauren Kate is #3 in the Children's Paperback Books list. This is one of those series that starts off slow but picked up. CLICK HERE for review. I'm also a sucker for fallen angels. 
  • Identical by Ellen Hopkins is #7 in the Children's Paperback Books list. I have the full series from Hopkins, but have yet to read it. I will say Ive heard only great thing about the series. 
  • Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick is #10 in the Children's Paperback Books list. Who doesn't love Patch. This is one of my favorite series and I can't wait for Silence to come out. CLICK HERE for my review.
  • The Hunger Games Series by Suzanne Collins is #1 in the Children's Series list. This is my favorite dystopian series and I believe what open the door to all the new ones coming out. I had never been a fan of that genre until The Hunger Games. CLICK HERE for my reviews. 
  • House of Night Series by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast is #3 in the Children's Series list. This has becomes a fun series to read, it has a bit of everything. Humor, action and hot vampires of course. CLICK HERE for my reviews. 
  • The Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer is #7 in the Children's Series list. It's great to see the series still holding on strong. 
  • Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead is #8 in the Children's Series list. I have yet to start this series but will very soon. Its a very popular series.

  1. You will love Vampire Academy it really is awesome and will probably push to one of your favorite series. It has an awesome heroine hot male lead and awesome writing dont wait any longer to read trust me!!
