This was my first short story and my first book from Dee DeTarsio.  I have to say that it was very well written, especially for it being such a short book.  The author’s sense of humor definitely came out in all the characters. MaryBeth was a little annoying with her whole obsession with Dean Dineno, but I guess that’s how some of us girls sound like when we are crushing over a hot guy.  If you’re in the mood for a short funny cheeky girl story, I recommend reading this book.

Summary: (from goodreads) Romantic Comedy Quick-Pick!

When a copywriter for a Chicago ad agency has to promote a new celebrity fragrance, she’s convinced its secret ingredient is the key to her happily-ever-after! MaryBeth Winters weaves advertising slogans with sweet dreams about her office crush, Dean Dineno. Adventures along the way help her discover how much fun it is to be a damsel in distress--who can also save the day!
