Review for Book #1: Would-Be Witch

Summary: (from goodreads) Welcome to Duvall, Texas, where new witch Tammy Jo Trask has just unleashed an accidental Armageddon...Oops.

Tammy Jo's misfiring magic has attracted the unwanted attention of WAM, the World Association of Magic. Now, a wand-wielding wizard and a menacing fire warlock have come to Duvall to train her for a dangerous mandatory challenge. But is there more to their arrival than they claim?

When a curse leads to a toxic spill of pixie dust, the town comes unglued and the doors between the human and faery worlds begin to open. To rescue the town and to face the impossible magical test, Tammy needs the help of incredibly handsome Bryn Lyons, but WAM has declared him totally off-limits. To avoid deadly consequences, Tammy probably ought to follow the rules this time.

On the other hand, rebellion is an old Texas tradition

Here we have the second installment in the Southern Witch series. Again Kimberly gives us a fun, easy and quick read. She continues to create her characters in such a funny and witty way. The story takes off just after book one does. What drove me to rate this book lower then the first was the love triangle the author kept up. It just became a little repetitive, but the rest of the story is good. Overall it continues to bring that sarcastic humor I loved in book one.

So this time around Tammy Jo is still of course learning how to do magic and she gets a paid visit from WAM (World Association of Magic). They offer he to become a full-fledged witch and Tammy Jo accepts. So WAM send her 2 warlocks to train her. Of course everything doesn't run easily with Tammy Jo, she gets cursed and spills  fairy dust all over town. So then you can imagine the things that begin to take place in Duvall, TX. So she needs again the help of Bryn which of course she is prohibited to associate with him. So here is hoping that book three will answer some of my undealt with questions.
