Summary: (from goodreads) Brody hoped it was just a hallucination. But no, the teen-aged ghostly girl who'd come face to face with him in the middle of a busy city street was all too real. And now she was back, telling him she needed his help in hunting down a dangerous killer, and that he must undergo training from the spirit of a centuries-old samurai to unlock his hidden supernatural powers. Thirteen-time Eisner nominee Mark Crilley joins Dark Horse to launch his most original and action-packed saga to date in Brody's Ghost, the first in a six-volume limited series.

Alex's Thoughts: This book is very cool and I really liked reading it. I like all the pictures inside and its easy to read. The story is very funny. I liked reading about Brody and how he is taught to fight.

Yara's Thoughts: As a mother when you see your child read a book with such enthusiasm, the book becomes a hit for me. He read this and was so excited to talk about it to me. He then immediately pick up Volume 2 to read. The graphics are great and very easy to read. The story is fast paced. I was glad I pick this series up for my son at the Teen Book Con in Houston and had them personalized for him. I will definitely keep buying him more books from this author.

  1. Cool ~ I didn't realize that you blogged with your child also. I think it will be fun to see the kids grow as they express themselves. Thanks for welcoming Beka today. She was thrilled.
