Summit Entertainment's Statement for leaked photos

Here is the Statement that Summit Entertainment has just issued for the leaked photos from Breaking Dawn.

Dear Twilight Saga fans,

As some of you may know, pictures and screen grabs of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn as a work in progress have leaked on the internet. We are extremely proud of this film and also extremely heartbroken to see it out there at this stage.

The film and these images are not yet ready or in their proper context. They were illegally obtained and their early dissemination is deeply upsetting to the actors, the filmmakers and Summit who are working so hard to bring these movies to fruition to you in November 2011 and November 2012.

Please, for those who are posting, stop. And please, though the temptation is high, don’t view or pass on these images. Wait for the film in its beautiful, finished entirety to thrill you.

Sincerely,

Stephenie Meyer, Bill Condon, Wyck Godfrey and Summit Entertainment

I dont know who in their right minds would take the chance of leaking these photos to the public eye.  When they get caught, the legal bomb that will land on top of them, will be huge. I will respect their wish and no longer Retweet or share anything on facebook and definitely not on the blog.

  1. I agree. Although it was nice to look at, it was wrong. I'm not going to be looking at anymore.

  2. I am atually glad I never came across them! I would hate to be tempted. I wish that people could wait and keep the integrity of the films intact. Did no one learn anything from the leaked chapters of Midnight Sun? As an author, and a bloger, it makes me mad that people take it apon themselfs to illegaly post others creations.

  3. I am so uninterested in seeing anything before the release of the film. Why ruin it for myself?!
