Summary (from goodreads) Abby accepted that she can’t measure up to her beautiful, magnetic sister Tess a long time ago, and knows exactly what she is: Second best. Invisible.

Until the accident.

Now Tess is in a coma, and Abby’s life is on hold. It may have been hard living with Tess, but it's nothing compared to living without her.

She's got a plan to bring Tess back though, involving the gorgeous and mysterious Eli, but then Abby learns something about Tess, something that was always there, but that she’d never seen.

Abby is about to find out that truth isn't always what you think it is, and that life holds more than she ever thought it could...

Elizabeth Scott is well known for her contemporary novels, she has so many under her belt. You might have read her Grace, The Unwritten Rule or Something, Maybe novels. Between Here and Forever fell a little under my normal rating for Elizabeth's books. The slow start at the beginning will do that for me. It took some reading to finally see Elizabeth usual greatness to come out. The twist that do take place are good and might be predictable to some but still can be good. This is a very typical cute contemporary with some real life aspects that can make you cry. Now contemporaries for me are not my go to reading material, Most of you know Dystopian and Paranormal are. Elizabeth Scott though is one of the author I will read when she has new material coming out.

The story surrounds two sisters named Abby and Tess, but mainly Abby. You have one sister that is perfect in everyones eyes and the other that is the complete opposite. What happen to everyone opinions when that perfect sister Tess is in a coma after a accident and Abby is left alone. Abby wants or you can say needs Tess to wake up from her coma, so she doesn't have to live with the shadow of her sister and if she passes. Abby knows or feels that she can never amount to what Tess is. Now Abby is set on waking her sister up from that coma some how, but what happen if secrets or the sister you thought you knew is not the real sister that wakes up.

Between Here and Forever is a story about insecurities, living life and coming to terms with yourself. Secrets will be revealed.
