Gabriella must unlock the secrets of her past and accept the magick that she fears to fulfill her destiny.

Destiny is a wonderful read. Ms. DeLuca does a wonderful job describing each character and their surroundings. There were times where it was so real that I honestly felt like I was there. The characters were great. They all had their own special purpose in the book and they came together beautifully.

Gabriella’s (Gabby) mother was murdered when she was just a little girl. Gabby knows that she is special, but is in denial and doesn’t want to realize who she really is. Darron, a witch and a close friend of Gabby, is told by Gabby’s mother (a spirit) that Gabby needs to accept who she really is because her life is depending on it. So Darron goes through extreme lengths to help Gabby and protect her against Richard, an evil Warlock that is after her and Darron. You see Richard knows that Gabby and Darron are powerful witches and wants them to join his coven and will do anything to have them even if it means killing people who Darron and Gabby know and are close to. The ending was pretty good and leads to believe that there might be a second book. I can’t wait!!

The book was pretty fast paced and had my attention the whole time. Destiny gets really into Wicca and talks about and describes many of their rituals and their beliefs. This is a great read and I recommend it to anyone that is really into Wicca or anyone that just likes books that have to do with witches. Great book I totally recommend it!
