Here's my review for the newest HP movie. I absolutely positively loved this movie and probably could have written a 5 page review. :)

5 stars are not enough for this one!!! This movie was EPIC!!! I am a huge Harry Potter fan (books and movies) and I feel that the last two movies really did the fans (and the books) justice. :)

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 starts up where Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 left off. If for some reason you haven't seen Part 1, I would recommend you watch it first so you don't feel lost. I knew I was in trouble when I started to tear up as the movie was just starting. This movie was an emotional journey for the characters, as well as the fans watching the story unfold on the big screen from the pages of the books they hold so dearly. The battle of good versus evil comes to a climax in this film. This is war! There is violence, death (of some of our most beloved characters, unfortunately), and destruction. There is also friendship, loyalty, adventure, some comic relief, and most of all love.

I feel that if the story had to end (which I'm still in disbelief that it is over), this was the perfect way to end it.

If you haven't read the books, or seen the movies, I strongly encourage you to do so.

  2. I admit - there were many times when I started to tear up:

    - when his fellow students cheered Harry upon his return to Hogwarts

    - when Professor McGonagall jumped in to "protect" Harry from Snape

    - the last scene

  3. I lost it when Snape died, there was no stopping the tears after that. This was such an EPIC movie. You are right on that one! I loved the scene where Mrs. Weasley kicked Bellatrix's butt. That was AWESOME! I think the whole theater exploded in cheers and laughter.

  4. I was FINALLY able to see it last night and I have to say that I cried the whole time. Since I had already read the books, I knew what was going to happen, but that didnt stop me from crying. This was such an amazing story and I will hold Hogwarts and all my favorite characters in my heart forever. (crying again...)
