Summary (from Goodreads) For months part-angel Clara Gardner trained to face the raging forest fire from her visions and rescue the alluring and mysterious Christian Prescott from the blaze. But nothing could prepare her for the fateful decisions she would be forced to make that day, or the startling revelation that her purpose—the task she was put on earth to accomplish—is not as straightforward as she thought. Now, torn between her increasingly complicated feelings for Christian and her love for her boyfriend, Tucker, Clara struggles to make sense of what she was supposed to do the day of the fire. And, as she is drawn further into the world of part angels and the growing conflict between White Wings and Black Wings, Clara learns of the terrifying new reality that she must face: Someone close to her will die in a matter of months. With her future uncertain, the only thing Clara knows for sure is that the fire was just the beginning.

  2. For some reason the library is taking their own sweet time getting this book, I want to read it so bad. Seems like everybody's read it but me. I noticed you don't have Jeaniene Frost, Stacia Kane, Chloe Neill, Ilona Andrews or Patricia Briggs on your favorites list. Have you tried them? They are a few of my favorites. I love Bones in Jeaniene Frost's books and in Stacia Kane I love Terrible he's a different kind of hero. just thought I would throw them out there in case you hadn't tried them.

  3. *sigh* I'm not so patiently waiting for Hallowed! lol I already pre-ordered my copy, however it won't arrive until the end of the month because I decided to preorder other books with later release dates. No worries though. The wait will make it worth it. Thanks for sharing. This is an epic awesome pick :]

  4. I'm really excited about this too-the first book was a pleasant surprise among the often dreary YA angel books and I've heard many good things about this second book.
