Summary: (from goodreads) Jacinda was supposed to bond with Cassian, the "prince" of their pride. But she resisted long before she fell in love with Will—a human and, worse, a hunter. When she ran away with Will, it ended in disaster, with Cassian's sister, Miram, captured. Weighed down by guilt, Jacinda knows she must rescue her to set things right. Yet to do so she will have to venture deep into the heart of enemy territory.

The only way Jacinda can reach Miram is by posing as a prisoner herself, though once she assumes that disguise, things quickly spiral out of her control. As she learns more about her captors, she realizes that even if Will and Cassian can carry out their part of the plan, there's no guarantee they'll all make it out alive. But what Jacinda never could have foreseen is that escaping would be only the beginning....

Loyalties are tested and sacrifices made in the explosive conclusion to Sophie Jordan's Firelight trilogy.

Amazing!!!!  Just with that word, you should be extremely excited to read the last installment in the Firelight Trilogy. Sophie has out done herself with this one, it truly rock my world when I read and finished it. Does it suck that the story ended, Yes but I'm in a happy place with where it ended. Sophie created and has yet to have anyone try and duplicate a story like hers with these Draki. In the book world you have tons of Vampires books, Angels books and other supernatural stories but only one Dragon series.  Each book in the trilogy is perfect and its a story you can re-read and keep on your shelves for the future.

Hidden begins where Vanish ended in a major cliff-hanger. If you follow the story you know someone has been captured and Jacinda must saved the person to make things right between her and Cassian. Jacinda will take on an extremely dangerous plan to rescue said person. This means pretending and being captured herself and then hoping Cassian and Will can help her follow through on her plans and escape with who has been captured. The extreme part in this plan is Jacinda is not sure that everyone will make it out alive? Traitors will be discovered and a life or two lost.

There are so many points I can make to tell you all the awesomeness inside these pages, but Ill probably be all day typing. Sophie like I said did not hold back and the plot, characters and voice shine. The story flows with such perfection and you bond with all the characters. You feel pain and love when they feel it and if you could fly and jump in to help, I'm sure you would. I can't say it enough times that this series is a true gem and should be on every YA or adult readers shelf.  Just be ready to sit down and not put the book down until you have read the last page. Hidden is filled with suspense, action and excitement!!!

p.s. If I were to be asked what creature/animal in a book would I love to be for a day, I'd answer immediately and say a Draki from Sophie's Firelight series.

  3. I am in love with this series, but I didn't feel the way you did about Hidden. I guess I was left with some questions. It didn't feel like a complete ending to me. :-/ But it still remains one of my all time favorite book series!
