Fifty Shades of YA Boys: Day 2 - Lucas - Starcrossed Series

Just when you have had time to cool down from day 1, Day 2 is now upon us. Dark Faerie Tales and Once Upon a Twilight are bringing you the hotties of YA books you all love. Today its all about Lucas Delos from Josephine Angelini's Starcrossed Series. The Starcrossed Series consist of Starcrossed (#1), Dreamless (#2) and coming next year Goddess (#3). I believe most of you know who Lucas is, so you know what a dreamsicle this Greek Hottie is. For those few still in the dark, when you do read these books, have something to fan yourself with. Let’s get something clear right off the bat. I’m not a ladies man. At least, not anymore.

Okay, granted, when my family lived in Spain, my cousin Hector and I had a lot of fun. There were plenty of girls from all over the world, visiting Spain for a million different reasons. All summer long Hector and I (and sometimes my other cousin, Jason) would head to the beach, meet girls take them out. It’s easy, really. Especially for my kind.

Human women have always gravitated to my kind. They can tell there’s something hidden inside of us, and all of them want to uncover the mystery. I never told any of the girls I dated what I really am. My family would have killed me if I did. That didn’t stop me from—ah—benefiting from their natural curiosity, though.

But all that changed when my family moved to Nantucket. First off—the water’s freezing and winter seems to come in September. I like sun. I like bikinis. I like it when women wear bikinis in the sun, which they can’t do when it’s snowing. Second—I don’t really see other women anymore. Not since I met Helen Hamilton.

It’s sort of funny when I think about it. The one girl I can’t have is the only one I’ll ever want. Oh, the irony, right?

NOBODY KNOWS I AM: A Shadowmaster.

I WISH I COULD STOP: Loving my cousin.

I'M A SUCKER FOR: A girl who charges headlong into danger with no idea what the hell she’s doing, apparently. It’s very, very annoying but I can’t seem to get enough of it.

A GOOD TIME FOR ME IS: Teaching. If I could just walk away from all of this, I’d be a teacher.

NOBODY WOULD BELIEVE ME IF THEY SAW ME: Disappear in front of their eyes.

I'D REALLY RATHER: Be doing something to someone that I shouldn’t want to do to her.

THE FIRST THING I DO IN THE MORNING IS: Try not to think about her. It never works.
