Summary: (from goodreads) Hardships and heartache brought them together…now it will tear them apart.

Layken and Will have proved their love can get them through anything; until someone from Will’s past re-emerges, leaving Layken questioning the very foundation on which their relationship was built. Will is forced to face the ultimate challenge…how to prove his love for a girl who refuses to stop ‘carving pumpkins.’

The second book of Slammed is told by Will's POV. Let me start by saying, Colleen did an amazing job by not making Will sound cheesy. I butterflying love her.

In this book we are caught up with the characters lives. Their pain, heartache, and unfortunately their loss. Will becomes the man many of us wishes for. The not so perfect man, the one that's there everyday devoting his unconditional love to you every single step of the way. Will is simply kind, loving, strong, and smart. He's the perfect boyfriend.

Pain can divide and break couples apart. Instead, pain made Layken & Will stronger. They became better individuals and their bond as couple - unbreakable.

Kel & Caulder, the youngsters. The ones without parents at such young age... Caulder's Slam just shattered my heart. You are never too young to NOT understand the pain. These two can teach anyone few things about life.
Point of Retreat is simply a love story.
