Each week we will post a new Top Ten list complete with one of our bloggers’ answers. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND post a comment on our post with a link to your Top Ten Tuesday post to share with us and all those who are participating. If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.

Top Ten Authors Who Deserve More Recognition
  • Kelly Keaton - I absolutely love her books in the God & Monsters series: Darkness Becomes Her (2011), A Beautiful Evil (2012), The Wicked Within (2013).
  • Brenda Pandos - Book after book she keeps me interested. All of her books have gotten great ratings on OUaT. Mer Tales Series: Everblue, Evergreen, Everlost - Talisman Series: The Emerald Talisman, The Sapphire Talisman, The Onyx Talisman.
  • Mary Ting - I was a fan of her Angels but now that she wrote her first NA book, She truly hit the spot!!! - Crossroads Saga: Crossroads, Between, Beyond, Eternity, Halo City - Something Great is her New Adult novel.
  • Heidi McLaughlin - Heidi is a newcomer but her books have been great and you cant tell she is a newbie author on scene. Beaumont Series: Forever My Girl, My Everything, My Unexpected Forever. Lost in You is her stand alone new adult book.
  • Susan Ee - Angelfall was EPIC and everyone should know Susan's name and read that book.
  • Holly Cupala - When you read Holly's book you walk away feeling like you gain something and are going to be a better person because of it. Don't Breathe a Word and Tell Me a Secret are stand alone books.
  • Jessi Kirby - ALL of her books are perfect. Her novels should be household names. Moonglass, In Honor, Golden are all stand alone.
  • Tabitha Suzuma - She wrote the book that many turn their heads away from, until they finally read it and LOVED it and are completely moved by it. Forbidden is one of my top 10 books of all time read.
  • Molly McAdams - I want her to be as well known as President of the United States, lol. Molly has written book after book and they have all been 5 stars. Shoot the women was the first author to make me cry real tears. Taking Chances Series: Taking Chances, Stealing Harper (the culprit that made me cry tears). From Ashes is stand alone. She has a new series coming soon with Forgiving Lies.
  • Samantha Young - This author really doesn't have to be listed anymore since she finally got her moment when she published On Dublin Street. But before On Dublin Street existed, Samantha already had several series and books self-published that should get the same recognition. I wont sit here and name each book but these are all her series: On Dublin Street Series, The Tale of Lunarmorte, Fire Spirits, Warriors of Ankh, The Fade, Drip Drop Teardrop and Into the Deep.

  2. You have no idea how happy I am to see Forbidden mentioned on your list along with Tabitha Suzuma. She is on my list too! People get scared when they see what that book is about and what read her, but it was so fantastically heartbreaking and moving. She needs the love too!
