If you haven't heard already, this news is surely going to make Stephen King fans excited! 'IT' will be coming to the big screen and HBO's 'True Detective' director has come on board to directed 'IT'. Cary Fukunaga will begin filming 'IT' next summer.

This will be the next live-action movie stated Stephen King's project's producer Dan Lin. Lin will also working with Fukunaga on the 'IT' project. This will be the first time 'IT' comes to the big screen. in 1990 we saw 'IT' as a TV miniseries. Lin mentions that the 'IT' will be a two film series.
“The book is so epic that we couldn’t tell it all in one movie and service the characters with enough depth,” explained Lin; the first film, then, will be a coming-of-age story about the children tormented by It, while the second will skip ahead in time as those same characters band together to continue the fight as adults.
Who will be cast for the role of "Pennywise"? Who would you cast to play the role of the evil clown?

The younger folks might not have a clue about this next remake that Disney is going to bring back. The original live-action musical was released in 1977. I grew up watching this movie and it's one of those movies growing up, you never forget. So folks my age or older will agree with me that remaking 'Pete's Dragon' is fantastic. This will give the younger generation the chance to experience an amazing classic.

Disney plans to create a new version but retain the old genre. They will make the new version more entertaining and creative to bring out the fantasy elements. The film will be directed by David Lowery and produced by James Whitaker. Robert Redford, Oakes Fegley, Bryce Dallas, Michael C. Hall and Wes Bentley have all join the cast. Fegley will play the role of Pete. Tentative release is set for August 12th 2016.

Things seem to be moving forward with the adaptation of 'The Lost City of Z'. The rights were snatched by Brad Pitt's Plan B production company years ago. And their were two actors attached to the film that you all might know, Robert Pattinson and Benedict Cumberbatch. The most recent actor to be added is Sienna Miller

'The Lost City of Z" producer Dede Gardner said she is hoping for a summer 2015 shoot.
