Predestination is that film that you think you can figure out the plot and ending from the beginning and when you are sure you have it all figured out, BAM! You were so wrong. And you'll catch yourself wrong not just once, a few times. Because nothing plays out the way it seems it will go. So about half through the film you just stop trying to guess and let it play out. And let em tell you, when you get to the ending, you never saw it coming and OMG its crazy.

Ethan Hawke does a great job in his role as the Temporal agent known as the "Barkeep" and will leave it at that because any more information and I give away key information. And Sarah Snook also did a stellar job with her roles. In combination both of these actors took the movie from good, to WHOA!

If you like movies that keep you guessing to the last minute and contain some exciting action scenes, then I suggest you check out Predestination. You will be entertain from beginning to end. Definitely something that can be watch by male and female but not the kiddos. It's too trippy of a movie for the young folk.

The special effects and costume design team deserve to be mentioned also for the superb job they did to help these characters nail their parts.

This book contains the story "All You Zombies" the basis for Predestination.
