Will their passion for music be enough to hold them together while everything else crumbles down around them, or will the truth of who they are tear them apart?

First of all, the cover is what actually drew me to read this book. I'm in love with it! Cyborg and robot YA books are becoming more and more popular in the last few years since that's all you see in movies these days. I had high hopes for this book, but I have to admit that this wasn't my most favorite book of all time. Don't get me wrong, there were several things that I loved about the book, but there were things as well that just didn't do it for me.

The thing I loved most about the book was the characters. Tyri and Quinn were very well planned out and had a lot of depth. It's hard to really make two characters unique and detailed, but Rooyen did an awesome job of keeping them separate, but also when they were together, they were also fantastic as well. Sometimes, however, I found myself wanting to skip ahead to Quinn's point of view because he was my favorite character of the two. I had to remind myself sometimes that he was the robot because he was so human at times.

What I wasn't really sold on was the plot. I know, I know...that's what others will love about it, but I'm just not a Sci-Fi kind of gal. I totally understand that the theme of the story was humanity and that everyone should be treated equally, but I just couldn't really get into the love story part of the book. I must be old-fashioned in my thinking that a human and a robot just shouldn't "date," but it just seemed a little weird to me.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this book to Sc-Fi lovers and readers who loved books like Skinned by Robin Wasserman and Cinder by Marissa Meyer. I think some of my Sc-Fi girls will love this book and I can't wait to get it in their hands!
