To escape a forced marriage to her loathsome, social-climbing cousin, Cecelia Harcourt banks on selling a romantic novel. But when she's hit by a coach on the way home from meeting a potential publisher and loses her memory, the accident leads to an encounter with a fascinating man. . . who she’s convinced is the hero of her novel.

Due to his brother's influence, Lieutenant Adam Hunt finds himself honorably discharged from the army. Adam intends to make his way in the world without the help of a war-hero duke, brother or no. He finds his plans for independence sidetracked by a chance encounter with a lady whose memory has gone. She believes he's a hero. Can Adam become the man he was meant to be and fill that lofty role?
This is an Adult romance novel recommended for ages 18+ due to sexual content and mature subject matter.

Cecelia and her sister, Mary, live with their aunt and uncle since the passing of their parents. They are not treated right and Mary is sick and is in need of medicine. Cecelia will do anything for her younger sister. She spends months writing a novel as she is hoping  it will sell so she can get what her sister needs. Yet the day she takes it to the publisher, she gets turned down and on her walk home her life will be changed forever.

What I enjoyed most about The Unforgettable Hero is watching the bond grow between Cecelia and Adam. He is there for her making sure she is okay, while he is falling for her. Although, he doesn't know who she is, due to the car accident and her loosing her memory, for the first time in his life he has strong feeling. He wants to to protect her and her sister. He wants to make them feel like they belong in this world. He was worthy of all the swoons. A man who wants to take care of, not only the woman he loves but the person she cares most.

This book is a fast read. You are entertaining and you want to know what will happen when Cecelia's memory returns. Also, the way Adam does everything to make her feel worthy. Trust me, you'll want to read this.
