Brave Enough is book three in the Tall, Dark, and Dangerous series. I did not read the first two books in this series and was able to get into the story without any issue.  This book can easily be read as a stand alone.

This is a story about two people that are polar opposites but perfect for each other.  Weatherly O'Neil came from a high society, wealthy family. Status is everything in her family, therefore, she was pressured by her parents to be with someone in their social circle.

Weatherly did not want to marry just for status, however, she wanted to find true love and not just be someone's "Stepford" wife.  She decided to get away to the one place she felt peace and serenity, her family's vineyard. What she did not expect to find is the tall, sexy, Tag Barton working there.

Tag Barton wanted Weatherly the very minute he saw her. It was an instant intense attraction between the two.  There is a mystery with Tag most of the story that keeps you on your toes guessing.

While I've read this type of romance book many times before, I felt M. Leighton wrote these two characters so well and uniquely their own.  She does an amazing job with character development. I COULD NOT put this book down. If I had to describe it in one word it would be SEXY.  M. Leighton can SOOO write chemistry and sex.  I do not normally like books that have insta-love but I really enjoyed the intensity of Weatherly and Tag's relationship.  I felt like their connection was more insta-lust/insta-chemistry than insta-love which made their relationship, in the early stages, more believable to me.

I would definitely recommend this book!  It had all the key elements I love in a good romance book. Sexy chemistry, insanely attractive book boyfriend, awesome female, a little bit of a forbidden love factor, mystery, twists, and a little angst. It was written in dual POV's, which I love!  I read this book in one day, so it is a quick read.
