Ladies and Gents, can you believe a year has gone by already since Comicpalooza!
Well get ready because the adventures begin in a few weeks again.
Let me give you a rundown so far of what's coming to Comicpalooza. We are talking musicians, actors, gamers, authors, athletes and so much more. Here are just a few faces you might recognize:
Kate Beckinsale is a celebrated, versatile actress who’s starred in everything from Shakespeare and independent films to major blockbusters such as Pearl Harbor and, most famously, the Underworld franchise. Kate’s first major role was in the big-screen adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing. Soon, she’d appeared in smaller indie movies like Cold Comfort Farm, The Last Days of Disco and Laurel Canyon as well as a well-regarded television adaptation of Jane Austen’s Emma. But it was the role of Selene, a vampire death dealer, in the Underworld films that thrust Kate into worldwide stardom.
Norman Reedus has had a wide and varied career: He’s modeled for Prada, Levi’s and Lexus. He’s appeared in music videos for R.E.M., Björk, Radiohead and Sleater-Kinney. He’s acted in films such as The Boondock Saints, Mimic, American Gangster and Blade II. But it’s his moody turn as Darryl Dixon on AMC’s hit series The Walking Dead that has made Norman a worldwide sensation. When he’s not dispatching zombies with a crossbow, Norman is also a painter, sculptor and photographer who shows his artwork in galleries throughout the U.S. and Europe.
The multitalented Camren Bicondova is an actress, dancer and model who currently plays the young Selina “Cat” Kyle on Gotham. Camren began studying dance in 2005 and just a few years later was featured in the dance film Battlefield America. She also appeared on America’s Best Dance Crew when the all-female crew she’s a member of, 8 Flavahz, placed second. Camren was recently hailed by Variety as an artist who “represents the next wave of Hollywood savvy and talent,” and we couldn’t agree more.
Dominic Cooper is a London-born British actor trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Dominic’s career boasts a wealth of television roles including his role of Howard Stark in the phenomenally successful Marvel series Agent Carter and the title role in the AMC series Preacher, directed by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. Dominic has proved himself to be one of the hardest-working actors in the business, seen in critically lauded projects such as Tamara Drewe, My Week With Marilyn, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, Dracula Untold, Mamma Mia and Captain America: The First Avenger. Dominic’s upcoming releases include Stratton and Warcraft. The list of guests can go on and on, above are just a few to tease you with. But we are talking Sigourney Weaver, Tara Reid, Ric Flair, Lennie James, Eliza Dushku, Paul Reiser, etc...
