MegaCon Orlando, which is taking place at the Orange County Convention Center from May 26th through May 29th, is back to offer a variety of activities and events catering to all ages and interests! Legendary influencers from all genres will gather to meet with the fans they inspire during the four day event this Memorial Day weekend.

Starting off this plethora of amazing special events is comic book legend Stan Lee, who will be there to meet fans, sign autographs, and pose for photos in the event called "Backstage with Stan Lee" on Thursday night (for tickets for that, click here).

Trekkies will be able celebrate 50 years of Star Trek along side William Shatner, George Takei, and Nichelle Nichols! Not only that, but part of the Harry Potter cast will also make an appearance in what is sure to be a sold out event on Friday, the 27th called "Hogwarts Reunion"; don't get sold out! Buy your tickets now!  And, as a special treat for the fans of MegaCon, Adam West and Burt Ward will take to the stage for a special farewell Q&A celebrating the 50th Anniversary!

For us big Batman fans, Frank Miller will also be there in a very exclusive appearance, along with the team that worked on "The Dark Knight III". For big comic book fans, you KNOW what a big deal this is! There are still packages available, so make sure to snatch one if you want to meet this living legend!

Still not satisfied with the list of events? Fear not, the Con is only getting started! And what a better way to end the kick off of an amazing weekend than the Megacon Offical Cosplay Karaoke Kick Off Party on Thursday followed by the Nerd Noise Night on Friday! Not 21 yet? Then just wait until Saturday to party it up at the Official MegaCon EDM Party! The best parts about these parties are the prices that can't be beat; all tickets will go for ONLY $10!

These very special events and parties aside, the Con offers Panels and Q&As with some of the industry's finest as well as top notch shopping - you'll be able to find everything from comics to horror and everything in between! After you shop 'till you drop, make sure to head over to the Artist Alley to check out some of the best up and coming artists that Florida has to offer and the amazing original work done by the next generation of animators and illustrators! For parents with children under the age of 12, make sure to stop by the Kids Zone when you need a quiet place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Convention!

Movie News: John Green's Paper Towns | Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool

Sharing some great news on these two upcoming film.

First up is John Greens' adaptation Paper Towns. Just recently they released the first movie poster and trailer for the film. And this past weekend, I was delighted to see a HUGE banner promoting the film at my local theater. The banner took up the whole wall.

Paper Towns is brought t us by 20th Century Fox. The film will star Nat Wolff and Cara Delevinge. The film is a coming-of-age story about friendships and love.

If you haven't read the novel written by John Green, you have a bit of time to do so before Paper Towns hits theaters in July. You can read our review of Paper Towns HERE.

Now on to this next film due out February 2016. The star of the movie himself just shared the first reveal, Here is Ryan Reynolds as DEADPOOL a.k.a "The Merc with a Mouth". Ryan shared this via his Twitter page.

I'm super excited for this film being that I am a HUGE Marvel Comics fan.
