I've been back for a week and my feet are still in pain! Let's just say BEA was a phenomenal event to attend but very exhausting. I know most of you know Yara couldn't attend this year but I, Leydy, was able to for Once Upon a Twilight. With the help of Yara, I had the best first time experience. I was invited to some parties during BEA and let's just say I partied with some of my favorites authors! Go

BEA Bloggers Conference Recap
So this was my first time at BEA but not my first time in New York. I know my way around the city. So when my friend Andy at Owl Always be Reading and I arrived, we decided to go straight to the Javits Center to pick up our badges. Who knew that the city could wait? I mean, come on FREE BOOKS?! Why not?! New York could totally wait!
Okay, so I skipped the part that we were impress of how enormous the center was! Seriously, the center could hold about a million of our tiny hotel room! I knew the rooms are smalls, like I said I've been to New York before, but our room was TINY! Anyways, Javits is
HUGE!
Since this was our first time, we decided to explore the center. It took us a while to actually walk the entire building.
Once we cover it all, we went into some of the blogger meetings. One of the meetings they talked about how the Bloggers have changed the game, but in reality they just talked about VBlogs. Even though what they talked about wasn't new to me, I remember one part in which someone mentioned how VBlogs entrance non-readers to actually start reading. I thought this was very true.
Youtube.com is a powerful media engine and those non-readers come across these crazy book lovers and become curious about the books. Anyways, many people didn't find this useful since most of it wasn't new, like myself. However, I did enjoy the fact that I was able to meet some of bloggers and VBloggers at the conference!
The best part of the night is that we scored this huge ARC haul!
After the blogger's conference, I headed to the Epic Reads Party, click picture to go to post. Let's just say this was my favorite night of all during my stay in New York.
These epic reads ladies are freaking amazing, and I was glad to see them again!
BEA Day 1 - The Madness Begin
So before the actual madness began, I was able to attend the Harlequin Breakfast. This breakfast actually prepared me for what was to come. It wasn't only a breakfast but an event to talk to some authors, like Jennifer L Armentrout. My inner fangirl was about to burst out but somehow I remained calm. To this day, I do not how that was possible...
I couldn't stop staring at them that I totally blank out to take pictures! But here are some of the pictures I was able to take during the first day of BEA. The floor wasn't as crazy as I expected. I was warned but I guess this year wasn't as crazy as before...
BEA Day 2 - Shut the front door, my feet are in pain!
I have no idea how I was able to wake up after the first day of BEA. My feet were killing me. Not only that, but we had to awake early in the morning. I AM NOT A MORNING PERSON. Exhausted and in pain, I was able to get up and my friends and I headed over to the Javits.First thing on our agenda, Christina Lauren. God, here at OUaT, These duo are one of our top authors. If you haven't read anything from these two, I suggest that you drop everything and pick up one of their books.
Once we made the line, they noticed my tag and started talking about Yara LOL. It was adorable. Once, I showed the book to Yara, she was freaking out! (hehe)
The morning was productive and I was glad because I had to head over to Simon and Schuster luncheon!

If you are walking around BEA, your feet are in pain and most likely you are starving. I thought the best part was the food UNTIL the authors started talking about their books! AH! Forget the food, MORE BOOKS! We were given a bag of books that included Sublime by Christina Lauren, Compulsion by Martina Boone (which I've been dying to get my hands on), Poison Princess by Kresley Cole, and Afterworlds by Scott Westerfeld. Each of these authors spoke of their books and well they all gaga the crowd. Mr. Westerfeld even show us his book trailer before it was online. (Watch the trailer if you haven't yet!)

Once the luncheon was over, I headed back to the main floor. It was time to speed walk and catch up. While I was waiting for a book, I saw Gayle Forman and freaked out! Mind you, this is NOT my first time seeing her BUT I LOVE HER SO MUCH! LOL I was freaking out. I was glad she had a second to take a picture with me. *sigh*
At the end of the day, BEA day two was successful. I met more of my favorites authors and met new ones. This is a pictures of my BEA Haul and I cannot wait to share my thoughts with you all:
My BEA experience was fun and exhausting. Mind the fact that I broke my ankle last year, with 9 screws and a plate, my pain killer is what help me through the expo. My best advise to everyone is, to start training for a marathon months before heading to BEA. Exhausting but worth it. I highly recommend any book blogger, actually any book lover, to have a BEA experience.
