Fierce Reads Spring 2016 Author Tour

Spring is here for many of you, and on its way for the rest (hang in there!). That means the Fierce Reads Spring tour is upon us! Check out the stops, enter the giveaway, and see what else we have going on.

This may be the most fierce tour ever planned. Marie Rutkoski, Cecelia Ahern, and Harriet Reuter Hapgood are headlining. And then we have Marissa Meyer, Leigh Bardugo, Jennifer Mathieu, Caleb Roehrig, Emma Mills, Anna Banks, Kami Garcia, and Sandy Hall special guest starring. It's basically like a Taylor Swift tour, but with authors.

Events will be held across the country from May 3 through May 10. There will be authors; there will be books; there will be signings; there will be giveaways; there will be a Fierce Reads coloring book (it's awesome). Hello friends and readers,

On October 5th, a decade will have passed since Twilight was first published. An entire decade—crazy! I feel like this calls for some kind of celebration.

As they’ve done for the past eight years, the town of Forks, Washington is celebrating Twilight with their annual Forever Twilight in Forks festival. I’m thrilled to announce that this year I will be in Forks on Saturday, September 12th to sign books!

There will be more details to come with instructions on how you can register (it’s free and open to everyone!), so check back on my blog. And for those of you who can’t make it but wish you could, we’ve got something for you. Two very cool BookTubers, Kat from Katytastic and Sasha from ABookutopia, will be with me in Forks to sit down and discuss all things Twilight plus cover the weekend’s events so you won’t miss them.

Viva Las Vegas! Shannon and Yara (me) will be in Vegas this weekend to attend Jamie McGuire's A Beautiful Wedding Book Event. We are excited to spend Saturday surround by the authors and the books we love. Will be arriving today Friday to register and a mingle right after and then let Vegas direct our Friday night. Then Saturday (1/31) is the big day. 

On Saturday we start off with a photo op with the Jase and Alex, the models that are Travis Maddox and Abby Maddox (lol)! Then sometime after that we head to the signing event that includes Jamie herself but also Colleen Hoover, Abbi Glines, Jennifer L. Armentrout and many more. Then once we have met and gotten all our books signed and fangirled our butts off, we head later that night to Aces & Eights Cocktail Party with the Authors and Models. We can't even described how thrilled and excited we are. We have our books and party dress ready to make the most our of this event.

So we can't wait to let you guys know how the event went after we have come back home and settled back into the real world. Make sure you are following our Twitter, Instagram and Facebook as will be updating with pics and so much more.

The windy city will be bustling with bookish folks this weekend and OUaT's very own Leydy, will be one of them. Leydy will be in Chicago attending ALA Midwinter conference. She will be attending the conference for a few days. We can't wait to see all the goodies she brings back home.

We will find out what the "It" books are from all the different publishers will be for this year. And I'm sure Leydy will be making some stops that we might recognize from Divergent while she is visiting Chicago.

Author Event Announcement: Avon's Hosting #KissCon FanFests in CA & WA

Avon will be hosting a series of fan fests, called “KissCon,” starting with two consecutive events in San Rafael, CA on 11/22, and Seattle, WA on 11/23.

What does KissCon entail? A group of *amazing* Avon authors will be doing a signing, a Q&A, and fun, interactive events with the audience. There will be prizes, raffles, and so much more in the way of romancey goodness! Authors attending each event will vary slightly (full list below), but they will include Ilona Andrews, Sarah MacLean, Lori Wilde, Cathy Maxwell, Elizabeth Boyle, Laura Kaye, and many more!

Once Upon a Signing: Book Bash 2014!

I know I am late to post this recap. But better late than never! If you remember, I attended Book Bash 2013, my friends and I had so much fun that we had to do it again this year. Glad we did. We had so much fun! After waking everyone up at 2:30 am, the gang and I headed to Orlando at 3:30ish am! Crazy, but yes, we were too anxious to sleep. We arrived at 6am and we started the line. Such a long wait, but we made friends in line. Of course we have lots to talk while you're surrounded by bookish people. So much fun! Anyways, once the doors were open... we headed to a fun day. Here are the pictures:



Since we were exhausted after the signing we only had an hour of break to eat because then we had to head over the NAL/Berkeley After Party! We ate so fast that we sure didn't enjoy our food LOL

After the after party, we had another party! LOL Nothing is better than to spend time with friends, books and DRINKS ;) But the night got better when I took a picture with HOLDER aka Griffin Pete!!
