Here’s the deal everyone, Daughter of Deep Silence is officially on my list of favorite books of 2015. From page one I was hooked, I needed more of it, I needed answers, but I also didn’t want it to end. I was at a point where I contemplated skipping a book signing to finish it, but I couldn’t miss a signing, so I just brought the book with and read at any moment I could spare. It was that good. It was that addictive of a story line. Our heroine was addicted to avenging the deaths of her loved ones, and I was addicted to her passion to do so.

A Daughter of Deep Silence is a story of revenge, a story of strength, and an inner battle of multiple personalities, but when you pretend to be someone else it’s bound to get a bit messy up there. Frances and her family were on a vacation on a fancy yacht, the Persephone, but after a horrible accident there were only three people left to tell the story of what happened, but when two people are telling a completely different story of the events of Persephone, who is going to believe the odd man out. So Frances takes on another identity becomes someone new, someone who will stop at nothing to avenge the deaths of her loved ones and expose the truth.

Like I said before I couldn’t get enough of this book while I was reading it, and now while I’m writing this I cannot find enough words to express how much I loved this book. I easily slipped into Frances’s mindset, accepting her lifestyle, her need for answers, and her need for revenge. So what you need to do is add this to your tbr, preorder this book, or enter the giveaway below, you’re not going to want to skip out on this one, especially you fans of Amanda Clarke and Emily Thorn.

To me there are two things that define a great author, one, create a magnificent book with intriguing characters and two do it consistently. That’s what Carrie Ryan has done with The Forest of Hands and Teeth series. With her third installment (which is a direct sequel to the second book) Carrie Ryan adds new characters and setting, making a rich plot.

The story starts off with a young girl named Annah trying to survive in the Dark City by herself. Annah wasn’t always alone, she left her village at a young age with her sister and friend, Elias. On the path, Annah’s sister is cut causing the unsecrated (zombies) to come after them. Annah and Elias leave her and go to Dark City with guilt, forever in their hearts. As you can see, this book is an emotional rollercoaster with plenty of action which will make you beg for more.

This is a post apocalyptic romance like no other. Normally I would cringe my nose at another romance book since the Twilight craze, but I gave it a chance and was delightfully surprised. It was so balanced in the story line that I’d say it was one of the most well written books I’ve ever read.

Gaby is a quiet girl who is content to live a simple life in her protected town from zombies. When Gaby and her friends, including her best friend, Catcher, are attacked by a zombie, Gaby realizes how one infectious bite can change her life forever. Gaby meets a mysterious boy whom she has mixed feelings about. With her world charging before her eyes, Gaby learns what love and hurt really is.

A roller coaster of a story, has action and some parts that pull on the heart strings. The ending also leaves you wanting more. The sequel will have a hard time living up to this one. I highly recommend this book. I think people of each gender will love this book!

Since Twilight there has been an enormous wave of vampire and werewolf novels hitting the shelves of bookstores. So it was refreshing to me personally to find a post-apocalyptic story that is beautifully
written and a true page turner, 24/7!

This book deals with a world inhabited by zombies. Mary is a simple girl who is finding out secrets about her village in which she lives. This book however is not just about violence and survival; it also has
a touch of deep romance. Mary is forced to choose between the one she desires or the one who desires her, which they both happen to be brothers. The novel is so well written that it is will have the reader gasping, due to surprises along the way.
